Would make a beautiful print. Who's been practising photography?

home sweet home
Kaikoura sounds very like Threemiletown, on a good night, minus the railway and whales although I'm expecting to start seeing herons and other waders in the field next door from the amount of rain we're getting.

stunning
The reports and especially the photos are absolutely stunning. Willie you don't look stunning but in saying that I have never seen you look so healthy. I have enjoyed looking at some of the beaches you have snapped and it helps me forget about the hellish weather outside here. Keep up the good work the both of you.

Cook Strait
If you're lucky enough to still have that wind your Cook Strait ferry trip should be pleasant.Oh,and don't forget to get your North Island money changed for South Is money before leaving as it's a better exchange rate in Wellington.

Jealousy
What an amazing set of pictures. Just a pity about the old Grateful Dead fan in them. Looks like you both are having a fantastic trip, good luck on your well earned adventures

Hmm - a mule eared deer, really? Well, if your luck holds you might just get a fleeting glimpse of its cousin the elusive no eyed deer. Have fun x

Redrocks
Hi there both of you - hope you enjoyed the red rock parks as much as Niome and I did and found Bryce Canyon to be a worthwhile detour! Look forward to seeing some photos when you sort out the technical glitches with your blog! Try and enjoy Vegas too - you never know, you might actually like it!! Take care, Gavin
