A first (for me, at least) Witness based blog Loved your blog. So encouraging. Feels like I was there in Siem Reap. Pity I never got to go to the Kingdom Hall when I was there last in December 2013. You must go to Siem Reap during the cooler months otherwise you'll soaked all the way through. I didn't encounter huge crowds although I'm told the peak period is from December to January. I loved to visit the Kingdom Halls in Indonesia and Philippines (addresses all listed in the website) Love and greetings from Malaysia.
To the Ends of the Earth Enjoyed reading of your Siem Reap visit and pictures. Our kids our presently working on an assembly hall near Santiago ,we are delighted to see them using their time and energy in the best possible way. Hope you are doing well, thanks for the encouragement .

Hello Dave, I am jehovah's witnesses, I am french. In august, me and my husband shall travel in cambodia. Do you have the addresses of kingdom hall please ? Thank you.
Thank You Dear Brother,
Thanks so much for taking those pictures. I had just read in our yearbook that there has been an increase in publishers in Cambodia and wondered what their Kingdom Hall are like. Thanks for providing insight.
I also read that the government there, while it supports freedom of religion, is also trying to devise a law that could inhibit the preaching work. The people there have been through so much already, so I hope this des not come to fruition.
Thanks again Dave!

thank you,
best regards.
Thank You Hi Dave, your info on the whereabouts of the Kingdom Hall helped me to find it! Arrived Sunady, found the hall Monday and attended the meeting on Friday past. What an amazing experience! Apparently 50 pubs now with 36 pioneers. The brothers were very welcoming, it was humbling experiencing their love. and you're correct, it is the identifying mark of Jesus true folloowers!
Thanks again for your post.
Warm regards

I'm going to vietnam solo myself in a coupla weeks, hadn't considered going north of Hanoi but after reading your blogs I am tempted by a motorcycle tour. How did you arrange it, just through a travel agent in Hanoi?
Regards

Indiana "Dave" Jones Wow what an experience! I want to do that with the elephants and see the bears! Its hard to imagine sometimes that we will get to do that and so much more for forever. It's worth any price! The pictures from there reminded me of some of the Indianna Jones movies. Keep persevering in prayer. Have a good trip home. Thanks for the stories.
My favorite so far. This entry has it all I think. The friends, the temples with the intricate carvings, the trees, the animals, the views, just sounds so neat. I really liked the way they have field service. Just being able to talk to people and have them take the time to listen to what you have to say. They probably enjoyed having this giant white American come along for the ride. They will talk about your visit for awhile, I think. The mnkeys sound fun, too theivery and all.
A Lesson in wholesouled service. Dave, you are so fortunate to be able to have this experience with our brothers and sisters in Cambodia. You're right no other religion or organization on earth has accomplished what Jehovah's organization has. What an increase! what zeal! I just can't wait to the new world when we all can be together and serve Jehovah the way we want to but can't in this old system. I can't wait to hear about service!
Ancient Chinese Secret! My back hurts just looking at those woman doing laundry. My head hurts just thinking about mailing a letter! Bravo for braving it out!
Valuable lessons Dave, what you are seeing and taking away from this is invaluable in our service to Jehovah. It really shows the difference between a need and a want. I wish we all could have this experience. Man, we are so distracted by everything here in America. I feel thats one of our biggest traps of Satan. We have so many superfulous things clouding our hearts and minds keeping us from the one basic thing, our love for Jehovah. You are very fortunate to have this illustrated so well. Be safe!
Solo Sucks! Dave, sorry about how you feel about being there solo. I saw the video you made with all the trips you shared with Audrey and she does truly seem happy. Again, Ever on!
I am just an average guy I guess. I love to travel but don't get to do it enough. I have never written a blog before or anything for that matter. I am going to see if I can stick with it.... full info
