My favourite food in Paris is baguettes and ham. You can eat baguettes for breakfast, lunch and tea. They also have real milk and very nice yoghurt. We have been staying in MontMartre, the streets here are narrow and have cobblestones. Up on the big hill near where we are staying is the Sacre Coeur church, we go up there in the evening and have a picnic tea and listen to the buskers. My favourite place to see was the Eiffel Tower. It is very tall. We walked up 670 steps on the way up and 670 steps on the way [View Full Entry]

Egyptian Camels

Africa » Egypt » Lower Egypt » Cairo
Boy, did we have to get up early, 2.00am to fly to Egypt!! In Egypt we stayed in a nice hotel with a pool, it was called Zoser Hotel. We went to the Pyramids, it was my first time riding a camel. They sprinted along, it was very bumpy on my butt!! We got to climb part of the way up the biggest pyramid and also a smaller one nearly to the top. They looked like a big triangle rock. We went to the museum and even saw a monkey that was a mummy. We also went on a sailboat for [View Full Entry]

Well here I am in India. Our first stop was New Delhi. As soon as I got off the plane, boy was it hot! We have visited lots of forts and palaces. On the road there are lots of different cars, tuk tuks, rickshaws, trucks and motorbikes. The most people we saw on one motorbike was four. We had a driver to take us to Jaipur and Agra. His name is Akbhar. On the way we saw so many different animals sharing the road. We saw camels, horses, donkeys, elephants and even monkeys. In Jaipur we went to the Amber Fort. We [View Full Entry]

Lots of steep steps
We arrived in China. China was great, China has chopsticks like Japan but they drive on different sides of the road. While in Beijing we went to The Great Wall Of China, we walked along it for a couple of hours. It had lots and lots of steps, I got very tired. We went on a chairlift to get up there and back. We also went to The Forbidden City and Tiananmen square, The Temple Of Heaven and we even saw Chairman Mao. He was dead. He died of old age when he was 75. In Shanghai, we visited the Oriental [View Full Entry]

Well I've been very busy and haven't had time to do my blog. So I'll try to tell you about my last days in Japan. In Hiroshima, we went to a museum that was about an atomic bomb that hit Japan, it was sad and I felt like crying. We also visited Miyajima Island, we went by ferry. There were lots of deer. I called one Big Bully. It had it's horns cut off. After Hiroshima we stayed in Kyoto. We visited temples and castles and lots of gardens with even more cherry blossom. Himeji Castle was really big, we walked [View Full Entry]

We have arrived at Fuji-Hakone guest house. We went on a cable car and ropeway up to see Mt Fuji. It was freezing near the mountain. It looked beautiful, it was big. We also went on a pirate ship around Lake Ashi. The next day it was very cold and wet, so we went to the hot springs. I went in a chocolate, coffee, and wine bath. We also went in the dead sea spa. I didn't stay in long because the salt made my skin sore and red. When we left Hakone we went on the bullet train. It goes very fast [View Full Entry]

When we were about to take off I was excited. The plane trip was very long, but I watched the Bee movie twice, Alvin and the Chipmunks and 4 episodes of the Simpsons. We stayed in a Tokyo ryokan ( a Japanese inn). We stayed in a Japanese style room with the matresses on the floor. We went to Tokyo Disneyland, it was very fun. We were going to go on the spinning teacups but the queue was too long so we saw some shows and the Disney parade. We spent a day at Ueno Park where we went on a [View Full Entry]
