interest from AISWA - From: Wiluna, Nullagine and Marble Bar
Hi Guys - I will be watching your blog on this with huge interest, as I'm expecting to be visiting Lorraine and Jim at RAWA in the last week of November to see how they're going. Will probably be about 50 degrees by then! Can't wait to hear feedback from any of our AISWA schools. So pleased it's you guys handling the deployment. You'll do an awesome job. Love the photos too. Gorgeous kids.... and the oldies scrub up OK too. Makes a bit of a change from the Andes, Croatia and Holland eh? Not a scarf and beanie in sight! Love Jan X

Loved the place - From: De Grey and Port Hedland
Hi I really enjoyed reading this page. I grew up in Southern Western Australia and have worked all over the country. I really enjoyed the job I had at Boodarrie and Finicuane Island except my supervisors did not keep to the promised work conditions and after a while I got sick so they sent me back to Perth and dropped me off the books. I quite liked the town and thought Boodarrie was a small city in itself and it was a beautiful place at night. The guys I worked with seemed to enjoy working with me and we had a mateship between us. I was so pleased to see some of your photos as they bought back some great memories of the sunrises over the site and some lovely sunsets. Once again thankyou for the memories.. Bill Hawkins

Birds - From: Final Days
We have enjoyed following your latest adventures. It was especially fun to see all the beautiful birds! Seattle birds are mostly dull ~ brown, gray. We do occasionally get to see a flash of yellow and red but nothing the least bit exotic. Fall is definitely in the air here. Our days are still 70 degrees but the rains are on their way. Ugh! It would be fun to know the total distance you covered. Happy trails! Karen & Spike

Galvins Gorge - From: Finally - The Gibb River Road!
This photo brings back memories of a weekend spent camped there in the early 80s. We were living in Derby. The water was flowing after the wet and we showered under the waterfall every morning! Your photos are stunning and I'm very jealous as I sit here in Busselton and listen to the rain on the tin roof!!

Still laughing - From: Work in Geraldton
I had to chuckle when I read about Rags walking out of class. Probably some of my old year 7s! My kids went through that system and I'm pleased to say that they emerged unscathed, with good TEE scores and enough resilience to last a life time.

Well, where have you been. Seemingly out of mobile range. Nice to Rags's sexy legs - off to wrestle a croc no doubt. Nice to see Clarkey looking more like the Clarkey I remember and hello to you to Jude. Christan and Diane are now in the U S as you probably know from facebook. What's next team?

Great holiday - From: Almost home again.
What a holiday. I like the idea of walks and bike rides interspersed with other forms of transport. The cheap beer sounded like quite a drawcard. Singapore has certainly changed for the better since I was there last. Look forward to seeing you up north for the Gibb River adventure. Love Kerry.

Vietnam - From: From Hanoi to Cao Bang - the bike ride
Well it certainly looks llke a different holiday for you this time !! The country looks lovely but the kitchen didn't look to choice! It didn't sound as though you were any safer on the bus than you were on the bikes. I'll be glad to see you home. The accommodation certainly appeared very nice. The curtains were a different "Look". What time do you arrive home? And do you want me to pick you up ? Love Ya.
