The flight from New York to Amsterdam took 6.5 hours.Then from Amsterdam to Heathrow was only an hour. I collected my baggage after travelling all night and was greeted at the Arrivals by my family 2pm GMT. Then a 3 hour drive to my hometown Teignmouth Devon.I have had an amzing tour met some brilliant people and seen many amzing things beautiful places an incredible journey. I said goodbye to some friends I had been travelling with in the morning. Its never nice to say goodbye to friends and it really felt like my last day travelling now.I decided to hit the City again and made my way back to the Empire State building. I bought a ticket and went to the very top the observary point on the 86th floor. The Boulevard houses graceland and many souvenir shops dedicated to the legend.We camped the night and next morning was up early to tour Graceland. We arrived at the campsite after driving allday. And it was freezing cold hard to get used to after being in the sun for so long. I decided to go out to get some water from a grocery store and as I was crossing the road I was knocked over by a speeding taxi. Was taken to hospital by ambulance and was in the emergency ward for 5 hours. For 20 million people the City was really quiet as most people go away for there Easter Holidays. We went out did a tour of the City and had a great night out Friday and Saturday night and had birthday drinks and a meal for meSaturday night I was supposed to fly to San Francisco but my flight was cancelled http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/Mexico/Distrito-Federal/Mexico-City/blog-53810.html Puebla City We left the hotel at 8.15am got a cab to the bus station and then caught the Bus for a 5.5 hour journey to our next City Pueblo.Puebla has 365 churches and a 1.5 million population a big City again. The bus journey was pretty smooth and the scenery had changed a little more cactuses and desert land with some mini twisters spinning across the desert floor. We pulled in to Oaxaca as the sun began to rise and got a taxi from the bus station to our hotel arriving around 8.30am and its now Tuesday 11th April. We checked in to the hotel San Martin which was close to the main square. The town is a pleasant place there are many small streets all cobbled which many local run shops. We then got a taxi from the bus station to our lodgings the Don Mucho cabins. The site is made up of cabins which is pretty much in the jungle. Its a really cool place and the cabins are extremely comfortable. The ruins are very impressive on on a big site. In the main part is a huge temple and if you stand around the temple and clap your hands the peak of the temple makes the noise of a bird. We caught the 7.30am Water Taxi from Caye Caulker and made our way back to Belize City marina.From the City it was a 34 hour bus journey to the BelizeMexican border. We crossed and were meeted with a huge sign across the road 'Welcome to Mexico North America'. My Central American journey had now come to an end. We arrived at around 2pm to the Indigo waters and palms trees. This is apparently a very popular place for travellers. The main point in coming to Flores was to visit the huge Mayan ruins in Tikal.
