Also I laughed really heard about the tower where you mentioned the soldiers being short .... short soldiers or you're just too dang tall!!! Miss you! |
| 9th April 2009 Lisa | Granada - From: Dancing with Gypsies, Granada By far Granada seems the place I most want to see for myself from your blog/pictures! Happy Easter! |
| 16th March 2009 tu madre | what is your temperature? - From: Benidorm please let me know if I need to get a flight and come over and take care of you!! sounds like you need to stay in bed for a few days and rest.... |
| 15th March 2009 Waffle | Cave - From: Sierra Bernia y Corida de Toros Yea, the cave was a claustrophobic, but I was more worried about not getting my pants dirty because I was afraid of my what my host Madre would say if I came home covered in mud. Luckily we only went thru the cave once because we walked around the mountian on the way back. |
| 9th March 2009 Joanie | Cave hike - From: Sierra Bernia y Corida de Toros Hey Quinn, Your pictures are great. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us! Did you have to go back through the cave to get back home? Was it claustrophobic? --Joanie |
| 5th March 2009 Robert | Dali! - From: Madrid, Spain How were the Dali works?! I am jealous. I really hope you realize that we had a poster of a few of his paintings up all last semester... |
| 28th February 2009 Robert | - From: Barcelona in 44 hours You know you can mention your friends who have the radio show by name. Unless you are embarrassed to do so. |
| 24th February 2009 Dominic | Barcelona Cathedral Misericords - From: Barcelona in 44 hours It is worth noting that Barcelona Cathedral has some of the best misericords in Spain. Unusually for continental misericords, they have supporters - usually a very British thing. |
| 21st February 2009 Elaina | Craigslist - From: Mis Padres Americanos y Yo I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often. Elaina http://www.craigslistpostingtools.info |
| 16th February 2009 Lisa | British folks - From: Mis Padres Americanos y Yo It's really funny that you mention people watching when those British people came off the plane because me, Amanda, and Katie (the girls in Straz who you met during Pretty Woman) have a running inside joke of attempting (that being the key word) to speak in British or Austrailian accents. Moral of the story: I would have been people watching too! Sounds like you had a lot of fun wiht your parents! |
| 13th February 2009 Lisa | Congrats!!! - From: Team Americano OMG!! I'm so proud of you - not that I thought you had anything to worry about since you always work very hard and take everything very seriously! Have fun with your parents! |
| 13th February 2009 Joanie | felicitaciones!! - From: Team Americano Felicitaciones y buena suerte en su programa. Ten bien tiempo con sus padres! |
| 5th February 2009 Christy | host family - From: Why I am here... Your host family looks so cute, and friendly. I hope you don't get too use to someone always cooking for you bc I don't think that will fly with your mom...HAHA!!! o and by the way eat one of those chocolate things for me they sound good. Keep on having fun!!! |
| 31st January 2009 Lisa | Picture - From: Castillo de Santa Barbara Nice model pose for your one pic... lol |
| 24th January 2009 Lisa | Thoughts - From: Mid-term I really do enjoy the comments - makes it more you. In fact, the other day I was walking back to my apartment or else somewhere in Appleton (doesn't matter, I digress)... but I couldn't help but think in this extremely cold weather how homeless people do it... so random thoughts are really interesting! Keep enjoying yourself! |
| 23rd January 2009 Lisa | Siesta - From: School, Turron, Obama It's funny, I laughed really hard when you mentioned your siesta because yesterday in Psychology my professor talked about we have a schema of kindergarten which includes nap time which has changed to our schema of high school and college that (unfortunately might I add) does not include a nap or "siesta"... |
| 20th January 2009 Joanie | Hola Queen! - From: Villajoyosa Que tal, mi amigo. Su mama dice que tu estas en Espana. Eres un hijo fortunado. Tienes bien tiempo en la playa y con sus amigos nuevos. |
| 19th January 2009 Laura | - From: Villajoyosa my favorite part was how your family says your name. :) |
| 18th January 2009 Lisa | Fun Stuff - From: Villajoyosa Ahh Queen sounds like an amazing time thus far! I am enjoying reading your blogs so I can keep traveling vicariously through you (since, as I told you, I don't know if I could spend 6 months in another country). Keep posting and we shall keep talking via skype and what not! Adios (see I'm learning Spanish too...) |
| 17th January 2009 Nick | - From: Villajoyosa Man Quinn, I'm really jealous of you right now, haha. A) it was below zero for almost this whole week so that is not fair, and B) you're really reminding me of when i was in Spain and now i kind of miss it, haha. One thing i don't miss though, is the food. Hope your having better luck with that then i did, cause when i saw all the unrefrigerated meat, i decided to be a temporarily vegetarian. Also, i could definitely relate with the nervousness u felt before u met your host family, cause i definitely felt that too, but isn't it amazing how easy communication becomes as u go. |
| 17th January 2009 Mandi | WOOT - From: Villajoyosa I'm very excited that you mentioned me. I'm extremely jealous of that beach. Wait, I'm just extremely jealous of all you're doing. Yay pictures. Have fun. :) |
| 13th January 2009 ROBERT | Code Word: Blue - From: Arriving Spelling errors are commonplace with you, however, Quinn. Wow, I was trying to visualize you on your trip. That sounds terrible. Needless to say, you need to fast track your Spanish speaking skills. Take and post pictures, by the way. |
