| 22nd June 2007 Emma | - From: Couldn't get there thanks to cancelled Ryanair Well at least this experience will make the daily commute to London seem like a doddle - or am I tempting fate? |
| 15th March 2007 Emma | Running for a train? - From: Wellington Strolling maybe, but I never saw you run for a train! Had a laugh over your email - I read it standing on Chatham station in the snow - actually I had to laugh otherwise I would have cried. Carry on having fun - I get 'virtual travel' from your blogs - and inspiration - I saw a recipe just the other day for beetroot and chocolate cake - perhaps I'll go for it now XXX Emma |
| 15th March 2007 Haidi | Am very Jealous - From: Wellington Hi Viv, Your blog is amazing as always and has had me in stitches again this morning, You sound as if you are having a fantastic time. !!! Can't wait for the next installment. Love Haidi |
| 2nd March 2007 Jessica | Beer - From: Walking with bicycles what's the Beer like in Oz and New Zealand? is it better than American? |
| 24th January 2007 anonymous | - From: Bay of Islands Viv, Photos look fabulous. Can't remember how much you overlapped with John Stace but, if you did, you should look him up now you are staying in NZ longer (maybe you already are, I'm probably behind the curve). I can give you his contact details if you email me. Weather here until about the last ten days has been the mildest winter ever but today we woke to 2 inches of now in SW8. Children woke up at 5am and decided it was only right and proper to run into our bedroom shouting "there's snow" at the tops of their voices. I'm sure you're sorry you missed it. One good thing about NZ is that, at least occasionally, we can beat them at cricket. Best wishes, Charles Pender |
| 4th January 2007 Steve Gallagher | Turkey is over rated - From: Kiwi Christmas Happy New Year Viv, just drank a beer for you, while reading your blog. Loved the photos, but could have done with some more 'beach' shots. FYI the City is wet and dark, and the trains were delayed yesterday. I bet you're missing all this crap. Keep well and safe travels. Steve x |

| 11th September 2006 Charles Pender | You getting this serialised in the Sunday papers? - From: Yellowstone National Park Viv I have also been enjoying your blog, although its length is rather a distraction!! If my in-laws are still in California when the little ones are older, you've certainly given me some ideas for going further afield (although I'm not sure about the camping). Interested that you assume we'd know here anything about Charles & Camilla - been nothing in the UK press that I know of. I presume this is the old(ish) story that they are not getting on? Anyway, happy travels and keep writing. Charles |
