Shopping
Since I am addicted to shopping, was wondering if you did any in Ireland? Did you go to any of the crystal factories - Wedgewood or Belleek? They have beautiful stuff at such reasonable prices there. Did you buy any wool at all? We got beautiful sweaters when we visited Galway. Sounds like you have had a good time. Safe trip home.

Great Trip
Looks like you had a great trip Zoe. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Zombies and zebra's, hmm? Dublin certainly sounds like it was an interesting city! How are you finding the architecture in Ireland? Is it similar to what you saw in England and Scotland, or is it very different? It sounds like you are having fun on your tour! I hope you keep having a blast and I am looking forward to seeing pictures!

Relieved
Oh Zoe... Obviously I was pretending to be one of the older more sensible Bennett sisters, and you were Lydia gone away to marry Wickham... why do you never get my humour? I am glad you survived your Nessy searching. It was touch and go there for a moment I was worried Nessy might be spotted and eat you. Where are you off to next?

Hi
It sounds like you're very busy, Zoe. Terry and I have talked about visiting England and Ireland. How are you finding the tour? Is it moving too fast for you, have there been places you've been that you would have liked to stay a little longer? I must say, sitting here watching T.V, waiting for Terry to come home for supper, I am extremely jealous! Have fun!

The does sound like fun! I have totally seen Hadrian's Wall, not that I remember much of it :P However, I am going to have to disagree with you on the haggis thing, I firmly maintain that it is "too bad". Keep having a good time!

Lake Windemere
Is that where your parents met on their Contiki tour, many years ago ??

Gretna Green
Did you get married yesterday in Gretna Green? Have you brought shame to our entire family? Will I as your sister feel the ramifications of your decision? Oh Zoe... why must you be determined to be the silliest girl in all the world? Did you get to meet Peter Rabbit? I would be so jealous if you did! I am surprised you went to a mock hens night though. Were the two parties seperated or did you have both at the same place? Can't wait to hear more about it.

Gretna Green
Your mother and I saw Gretna Green when we toured the UK.We had a group picture taken when they married a couple from our group. Keep enjoying yourself. Has the weather improved ?

Gretna Green
Things haven't changed much. We did the same thing on our bus tour over 30 years ago! Pity you had bad weather in Windermere. I loved that area.

It sounds like they are keeping you very busy on your tour! I also loved all the old architecture when I was in Europe. Are the streets properly paved or do some of them still have the older cobblestone like paving? Enjoy Edinburgh, it is amazing there!!
17th July 2011

I too would appreciate writing on the pavement telling me which way to look! London sounds like it has been quite the experience! I would love to see the Tower of London, I hope you are taking lots of pictures!

No Globe?!
I am destined to have to go to see this particular site myself! I sent Meg and Jason there and they had much the same problem as you and couldn't get inside. I'm sure they just went to appease me so it was a wasted trip for them. One day I'll get there myself. It sounds like you are having an awesome time despite the lack of facecloths (or "flannels" as they call them)! I don't know about your sister, but I am enjoying all the details you're putting into your blog. Keep up the good work!

At Last
I haven't been very patient waiting for your next blog. Sounds like you're having a great time. What about the food? Anything new and interesting? Can't wait to see the pics. Wish you would put them on this blog. Mum

Sounds like you're having a great time, Zoe! Hope the tour is everything you hope for. Weird about the washcloths though?

Behave Yourself
I never made an attempt to hide who I was... I am quite obviously the most awesome person you know. Make sure you behave and play nice with the other kids now that you are starting on the actual tour. Trust you to find an Australian and stick with them. What is your first stop tomorrow?

Shakespeare's Globe
Wow, a packed full day! It's a good thing you're young! Of all the places in London, the Globe is my number 1 so think of me when you're strolling through. Have a blast!
14th July 2011

Experience
What I don't understand is how you managed to find your way back through these places all by yourself without freaking out... or did you just not mention freaking out? As I do remember you freaking out once in awhile when there was no map to be found and you thought I was leading you on a wild goose chase. Sounds like you are having a blast so far. And maybe next time don't make the entry so long... If I wanted to read a novel I would have bought one. Glad you are having a good time so far though!! Can't wait to see the photos once they are on facebook.

Spelling!Spelling! Spelling!
It will have to be a cross that I have to "bear". Sounds like you are getting along famously. I'm envious of your trip to the National Gallery! Enjoy yourself. love Mum
