West Highland Way
I made an attempt to complete the Way in a short space of time which, too, was cut short! If you're interested, my account is at http://lsots.blogspot.com/2009/11/west-highland-way.html Keep pressing on with the hiking; you'll build up the miles quickly and hopefully get a real taste for it! Howmore crew
One of our friends from Howmore days has set up a Howmore crew group on Facebook, which is where I found your article.Would you like to join our group and we can exchange images and stories from Howmore? I recognise you wonderful description of the places, but they will be ruined if too many people visit as started to happen this year, now the ferry fares are subsidised!

Hey! I was alluded to in this blog, and that makes me feel special... My name may not have been mentioned, but that's ok with me.... Also, a glass of 12 year old scotch from ISLAY??? Waaaaaay too peaty for my tastes, but you Canadians and Scots must like the taste of straight charcoal in your throat. -J.W. Ground

ahhh Valerie, so glad to hear you've not changed from how I remember you, and that you still enjoy a good pint (or two or three, haha)! If nothing else, reading of your most recent adventures made me laugh out loud - well worth your trials and tribulations I'm sure. Carry on wayward son ......errrrr daughter.
