Request
Hey hey, sounds traumatic but fun. I have one request - a video/photos of the African dance please - as I expect this will be good comedy content and you're missing a trick. I recently got put through a work event at which they thought to learn an african dance would be a nice way to end and to kick off the networking part of the evening - not so. I think in Cameroon it would be different so let's see it ;) Enjoy the sun x

Keep the info coming!
Hi, sounds like you are getting into the swing of things there. Sounds action packed lizards, insects people coming and going and then Frank! Dan's No. 1 fan from all accounts, personally I think he should give the football a go, if it gets too hot he can always feign injury. Where is Frank's family? You say she has taken him in, is he an orphan or possibly Marie Clare's son? Oh well, we look forward to the next news. Enjoy your sightseeing tours, I mean Taxi rides to work Love Dad & Mum

a good laugh at Tina's expense!!
Hi both of you - i'm so sorry Tina but I couldn't stop laughing at the cockroach scene - Grandma had her head in her hands and felt very sorry for you. She didn't think it was quite as funny as I did!! The tray of insects looks really appetising - perhaps you could bring some home for us to sample!!!!! The video looks funny but I have no sound so I have to imagine you laughing but that's not difficult cos your mum says you sound just like me - you poor thing. See you soon lots of luv Georgina and Grandma xxxxxxxxxxx

Wildlife
Hi Tina and Dan, it looks like the wildlife provide the entertainment, scares and food in Thailand! Can't imagine how Dan managed to cope when you received a visitor on your head a bee is enough to send you into the house here. What are all those trays of insects about? I've just been to Asda and that amount of bananas Dan fed to the elephant lasts us a week! Obviously no supply chain issues there. The beaches look really inviting as they have done where ever you seem to go - enjoy. The months are passing quickly now, but you've saved what is sure to be a great place to last. Keep in touch, I'm off for a spot of lunch before a bit of gardening- think I'll have a banana!!! xxx

So funny
just read the blog about Vietnam and I can't stop laughing about the neighbour who came to sit and look at you. It will cheer me up for the whole day. Couple of other things are a bit worrying though especially that poor girl who gets bitten in the night. Sometimes it does tend to make you appreciate Britain a little more!! You are both still looking the picture of health so you must be doing something right - no stress apart from huge rats of course ! Oh well some of us have to work unfortunately so better get back to it. Take care of yourselves and Grandma sends her love as always. P.s. Katy has gone off to France for a week so I'm all on my own at home - it's very quiet and tidy !!! but I really miss her and she has only just gone !!!! Take care loads of love Georgina x x x x x x x x x

You lucky people!
Well those pics in China want me get on the next plane out there! Look at you cookin', river cruisin', and tootlin' around on bikes!! The scenery is just awwwwwesome (rarely used American word), It looks warm but sometimes misty round the hills? Was it humid? Well I hope you all havin' a great time in Vietnam, it really is a trip of a lifetime- it'll be a shock getting back home. Only good thing is it will be summer here, thanks for the pics again. Must admit the expression on that pigs face when he evidently got steam rollered is quite startling, not happy at all!! Certainly is a place for sights and sounds like they like the sight of you two also! Keep on truckin' love Dad and Mum

Saturday evening entertainment
have just read all your adventures from Chile to China to Grandma. She was mortified to think that Dan had eaten dog and commented that it would be like eating Candy!!! She was worried to death when i read about your sea sickness and the experience with the South Korean spicy food. Apart from that she says everything sounds absolutely wonderful and she is pleased that you are enjoying yourselves. Grandma also says it was lovely to hear your voice on the phone the other day and she is looking forward to your return home safe and sound. Grandma and I are both sitting in her lounge and it is really difficult to think that you are both in China so far away. I must say the ice and snow festival is unbelieveable, absolutely amazing. That really would be something I would love to see if I could stand the temperatures!!!! Oh well back to reality your Grandma is falling asleep so better think about bed, take care of each other and loads of love from both of us x x x x x x x x x x x x x x

Hi there travelling tootlers! So glad to hear of your new adventures, so sad we are not there too! Well now you have overcome your crossing from Japan you can relax on terra firma. We had to wait at Helsinki airport for 45mins due to only one runway working at Manchester, suffice it to say it was sub zero and with plenty of snow at Helsinki and they were coping fine! Dan didn't get his poisonous fish delicacy in Japan but he got a real delight in Korea, can recommend the St. Bernard! Don't go on about smog in China we got plenty in Bolton! The weather is apparently demanding some serious fashion challenges for Dan, the boots are quite retro looking but after the Karaoke his street cred is at rock bottom now, so only one way to go! Happy to see you on Skype today look forward to more escapades - keep wearing the johnsons!!!!!! Love dadxx

Happy New Year
Sent an email on New Years Eve but just thought I'd say it again. As you know I spent New Year's Eve with Grandma who spent the whole evening asleep, woke up at midnight and then had a second wind so consequently we were up until about 2 a.m. and I was shattered because, of course, I hadn't slept all evening !!!! Thank goodness for a glass of wine and Jools Holland, that's all I can say !! Have just been catching up with your adventures and as usual they do not disappoint - you'll have some fantastic memories Grandma loved the present from you and Ash, she seemed to enjoy Christmas but slept through a good deal of it. Hope you all enjoyed Japan, haven't seen your dad yet so i'm looking forward to hearing all about it very soon. Katy and Luke send their love, take care lots of love Georgina xxxxxxxxxx
