Coors Brewery
Fact - Coors didn't cross the Mississippi until 1981. It was finally distributed in all 50 states in 1991.
Hello from home, After 24 days and about 9,800 miles we got back safely into Blacksburg at 3:10 Saturday morning. Since then we have been unpacking and unwinding (as if a month vacation wasn't enough). We left Cortez CO and stayed in Colorado Springs with Laura Valentine, a close friend to the four of us back at school. We were all pretty surprised with how well she welcomed and hosted us, to be honest we were worried because one of our sketchy roommates has had an unhealthy crush on her for quite sometime. Mr. and Mrs. Valentine made dinner and [View Full Entry]

the black bear w/ brown fur...
Since San Fran Michael Eugene Munton Again we apologize for not updating as frequently as we would have liked to but Southern California and Vegas took us by surprise. After staying with Cyrus we headed south east to Yosemite where we were quickly greeted by a black bear...who happened to be brown. Usually that kinda thing would warrant a question but it's California so we figured it was fine. We drove down to Yosemite Falls (the world's 5th tallest at 2400 ft) inside the valley. It was a Friday so campsites were dwi [View Full Entry]

Oregon Coast
Oregon Coast
first encounter with the pacific
So we've been working our way down the west coast the last few days. From Vancouver we drove down to Oregon to camp along the shore and see the pacific. The numerous campgrounds were alright despite being overrun with mosquitoes. From there we drove down highway 101 through Redwood National forest where we stopped off for a few pictures with some 200 foot trees. Lucas informed us that they are so tall the canopies actually catch enough leaves and matter that is nutrient rich enough to support worms. So basically there is another layer of topsoil 200 ft up. Lego Land

We're in Bozeman MT just outside of Yellowstone National Park. To get you up to speed we stayed the night in Milwaukee. The next morning we woke up to find brilliant poetry in the town paper. The Myers pointed out Wisconsin's love of beer and brats and these haiku's prove it. "A Blossom of fire Sweet juices fall on hot coals As the bratwurst sings" "Sweltering summer brats sizzle, crisscross the grill cold beer dripping ice" Later we decided to tour the town and Miller Brewing Factory (3 free beers at 10 am why not). From there we drove over to [View Full Entry]

At Notre Dame with Jordan Dedona. The drive up was relatively easy for a 10 hour drive and will be one of our longest on this trip. The pictures are of the NFL Hall of Fame and shots around campus of Notre Dame. We actually never went into the Hall of Fame...16 dollars to look at statues of old dudes? Are you kiiiiding me? While touring we ran into a Father coming out of the chapel from Lynchburg VA. He told us about a similar trip he did after college with his cousin saying, "I probably shouldn't tell you this, but [View Full Entry]
