Sounds great what you guys have experienced! I have also recently done tours with the same agent and am super satisfied. I made it to Cotopaxi´s summit! Isn´t it a great feeling. Everytime I think back I get goose bumps- but also I really reached my limits. I guess without the guide I would have turned around many times before:-)-

That blue fire you guys missed is truly a beauty. The Ijen Crater. Nowhere else in the world except in Ethiopia as far as I know. So, maybe thats why they seems afraid that you're disappointed.

Hej på er! Era äventyr på södra ön låter fascinerande! Kaj och jag var ju i NZ år 2008 och besökte bl.a glaciären vid Franz Josef, också för oss en liten besvikelse, det var så disigt att man inte kunde se den så bra och man fick inte gå så nära pga. smältvatten bäckarna. Vi var också till Milford Sound, vi hade bokat hela rundturen på södra ön via en resebyrå, i Auckland om jag minns rätt. Det var en trevlig fjordtur, men ni har nog säkert sett så mycket annat att ni inte behöver sörja över att ni inte fick möjlighet till den. Vi följer med er blogg med intresse. I am going in August
I was just searching Peru/Lima/Cusco/Machu Picchu and came across your blog. We are doing the 4 day hike to Machu Picchu but I enjoy reading other adventures and how to get there. Thanks for sharing! :-)
