Oh yeah, and the food my host mother cooks is fantastic (the best I've had here), but the food most people eat here is too spicy for me, and sometimes people like eat strange things that we don't eat in America (can't say I'm a fan of those odd foods yet).

I have been to the Forbidden City and it's an amazing site! You can check out some pictures in the Beijing section (I renamed it). I think I might have some better pictures I can put up if Ava wants to see more.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing these amazing photos. Ava is studying China this week for school. We just read about the Forbidden City. Ava wants to know if you've been there? Love, Halie, Ava and Isaac

Well... I've already eaten duck head, pig's feet, cow stomach and throat, and "random innards". Sometimes the people here don't even know what it is they are eating.

Oh yes, I didn't even know there was such a thing as zero star until I came here.

China is like Mexico; beautiful in some places, but very poor and run down in others. The city I live in is not like the pictures I've been posting. Thanks for reminding me! I will try to snap some photos of the city tomorrow.

Hi Trevor. I know I probably comment all of these with "wow". But really, what great photos and a great opportunity. it seems like a very clean and beautiful place...is it all like that?? Or more like Mexico where it is only nice in the tourist areas etc? Can't wait to talk to you when you are home! Take Care. XXOO Aunt Tracy

Hi Trevor! So glad you have a great family in China! We look forward to hearing about your trip. Hey, since you're so tall, do they ask you to reach for all the high stuff?? And don't eat any of the weird stuff, aka delicacy... fried birds beak and feet... yuk.
