But its worth it! I also got the locals boat (loads of people get the expensive Bluewater speed boat straight to Bali!) and it was horrible. I had never heard of Gili T..someone mentioned it when I was in Thailand so I went. And I totally loved it! No cars...so good. Lovely diving. Loads of turtles. What more can anyone want!

Got some really cool pictures here! Too bad those were the last one taken with your Ixus, hope you got a new one since :-) Happened to me last August...you would be surprised what a tiny hair stuck on the housing does...anyway, got lucky enough as managed to save the camera....hope to read more of your diving blogs soon!

Hang in there!
I liked your blog. I hope you can gang in there with the teaching degree. As hard as it was to stick at it, once you finish it's the nicest feeling, and having a bit of extra prep and practical experience is helpful when you do take the plunge. I thought i'd never make it out of Oz on my own, but so far i'm doing fine, with a boyfriend at home to boot! I'm sure you'll achieve your dreams, it sounds like you have the determination. All the best.

yeah it would have been nice if bunaken was another 50-100km out to sea away from all the rubbish. Have to find somewhere like that next time
