Life List Congrats on checking off yet another one of your life list goals! Pics look amazing and you can hear the excitement in your stories. Amazing.
SPLASH Netter, I am soo proud of you for conquering your fear and getting back in that raft. I am not sure if its the same rapids that I did when I was in Costa Rica. But I agree with you 100% it was one of the coolest things I did on the ship. YEAH,, this has been on heck of a contract for you.
Thanks for the adventures!! Hey there Nettie...thanks for taking me on an adventure of a lifetime....I know I'll never visit many of these places in this life but I feel as though I've experienced them all through your blogs.....can't wait to see you xoxo
Diving Oh Netter. So jealous. I miss diving SO much. I can't wait to get out and do it again. I'm planning a visit to Honduras for the end of June (Julie let me out of Staff Training), so I will definitely be experiencing life under the sea very soon. YAY!
Looks like a wonderful visit! Love the similar poses. lol.
Mel's dinner looks WONDERFUL!
So many smiling faces.
Tiring but rewarding. Glad you had fun.
Familiar Faces Hey there Netter, sounds like things are going very well onboard. Its so great to have some many from your family come and visit you. So they can get a chance to experience some of ship life. Cant wait to share a bottle of vino when you return.
Sounds amazing. I LOVE cultural crafts. Think I could start a business where I import all the amazing stuff from other countries and sell it here? lol. I actually met a woman in Guatemala who was thinking of doing that in her hometown (somewhere in the States).
Enjoy your time with your sis!
Good job Hey Netter,
It looks like things are going well on the Liberty. Good job getting yourself out of a little funk and going out and kicking back and enjoying the last of your contract. I cant wait to see you again. Share stories and eat Ho-Lee Chow. Hugs.
JOE! Oh how I miss the antics and charm of that boy. Must have been fantastic to have a little reunion. What a great kid. I shall search him on facebook now. lol. Jealous once again of your adventures and friends.
More Sea Friends And there you go, making more sea friends without me. I miss my sea friends. I want to play! Although I just found out from some woman who did her master of marine life in Vigo, Spain (the city where I'll be living - there is a university there), that there is some sort of aquatic reserve in the city and you can scuba dive! YAY!
That's a whole heck of a lot of teens. Did you even get to learn any of their names??? Wowie! Good for you Netter. Bet it feels nice to have that done.
LOL I was literally laughing out loud at the thought of you running around frantically with pie all dripping, and the local laughing. I love when locals laugh at us. Feels nice to make someone's day just by being us. lol.
Sounds amazingly delicious.
Amazing Pics! I am very jealous of your photos with your new friend. I have only seen rays while diving, but have never been that close! Sorry about the negativity. Glad you were able to pull out the good.
I make and teach art. The rest of the time, I travel. After Spain, England, Uganda, California and years of tour guiding, it was time for the next big adventure. Working for Carnival Cruise Lines. I signed onto my first ship in December 2006. Sevent contracts and twelve ships later and I've been around the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska.
What have I put my hard-earned cruise money to? More travel! Oct - Dec 08 I travelled around South Africa. Sept 2010 I went to Fiji which had been at the top of my travel list for years. Making dreams come true!
