I so enjoy reading of your travels (and travails!). Thank you for sharing your writings with me.
Love,

Wyoming! I'm in Rawlins, WY right now and reading your blog makes me wish that I could see you right now. I was in Greenville, OH a few weeks ago and worked with a guy named Keith who knew you from when you were there last summer. I miss you so much! I'm on my way back to Portland so let me know when you'll be there.
Beautiful Those pictures are beautiful. I went to Yellowstone once. Did you know that there are three (?) dormant volcanoes there, but that when one does errupt, the other two will, and possibly destroy cities and states? Crazy.
i miss you hey...
i'm not gonna try and be trite and tell you everything will be ok, i'm no prophet... but... maybe focusing smaller might help not getting ahead of yourself... a moment, a day, a breath at a time... don't worry about the rest of the year, you're good now, and now and now.
anyway, i miss you alot... i'm gonna try and call you soon... just perpetually distracted by adorable girlfriend. :)
xoxo

thanks again! from PDX! Hey Zach, thanks so much for showing me around my first Friday night here. Looks like a wonderful time from your pictures, such a fabulous experiences! I wish you very well and look forward to your return. I'm slowly but surely figuring out my computer.... Know of any good groups to get involved in? love you!
yay Zach! Hey! I'm so glad you're doing well! I love the Dick Cheney building.... LOL....my goodness! When will you be coming to utah? lol... will you be? Failing that, when are you next in Portland? Seriously, though. i miss you! Graduation is looming closer, and I am realizing that I will soon be done with school! Scary! Well, I'm sure I'll survive... Now that I'm actually making friends here, I'll be sad to leave! I do feel like going to the beach today, actually.... and I can't!!! It's so unfair! Oh well... today I found out that the coffee shop by my house is open on Saturdays now! I am pretty friendly wtih the owner, and I was so happy that I got to see him today. He's a super nice guy, and his name is Quinn. Anyway, I wish I could show you around SLC! The chances are diminishing as I write this!
Ta-ta for now, lovely Zach. I hope you don't see any more dubiously named federal buildings!
Love, Megan
Yellowstone pics Thanks for sending these - they took me beyond my workday into that wondrous landscape. What a unique opportunity you have this year to explore, hone your skills and hold in your memory. You're wise to take full advantage of it!
I know how you feel about exposing kids to theatre for the first time. A lot of my campers have never had any exposure other than the camp, and its really great knowing you've given them something.
Keep rocking across the US. I'll see you soon buddy.
Hi Zack I'm visiting Steve, Leslie and Sam. It was great to leave the Florida heat behind, but soon I will be going back; on Thursday. I love reading your traveloges. I feel like you are here with me and talking to me (I wish).
You are a great writer and I always have a smile on my face when I read them, can't wait for the next one. What a great experience!
It is great being here with the Koval family and looking forward to Thanksgiving. Sam is working as an instructor teaching sailing to kids again this summer.
Love you,
Grandma

EWWW! Yuck! I should have waited to read this until after I've had my coffee and a bit of breakfast...You were very adventuresome to try Liquid Cereal....Who makes it?
Sounds like you're having a great experience; we love reading of the latest travels.
Love to you,
Drenda
What is. Who is this Megan and why is she doing MY THUMBSUMPSKIES with you? Just kidding. She looks darling.
P.S. Didn't even know you had a travel blog and now I have a lot of reading to do. Miss you!
yay Zachary, I love reading your travelblog! I hope you're having a great time in DC-- Corey and I are currently in Denver, CO, launching off to the great wonderland known as Nebraska tomorrow morning. Please continue having a fabulous time, and keep us all informed!
Corry aha! I should have read all the blogs before responding. Now that you described the town being near Erie - that was 'coal country'....and probably appreciate all the culture that comes their way.
Not in College anymore... Zach - I enjoyed reading your first entry and will look forward to seeing more. I can imagine how it felt to be among theatre people as enthusiastic and serious about your work as you are. How exhilarating!
Safe travels - I'm looking forward to the next installment -
Maryann
Thanks! Hi Zach - Thanks for keeping us up-to-date on your travels. Sounds exciting! When you are tired and ready to stop, go back and read these first entries that you posted -- they will help you renew your energy and excitement!
Love to you,
Drenda
hey there.... You were thinking of me as you drove down 90 E, huh? I´m flattered, and touched, but am also hoping that it was because you remembered me and not because your friend is desperately boring and you´re searching for things to entertain your mind... at least I´m entertaining in that senario...
Anyways, I remember thinking, when I first read your message, that I also was suddenly thinking of you at some strange moment, and forget now what that moment was. It was either a sunset, at which times I am quite prone to fanciful reminices, or it was at a moment I was really wanting someone to just talk too. You could always fill that capacity most excellently. I then realized, with some surprise for I do not frequently feel this way, that I missed you.
In any case, Spain is interesting. Every day is an adventure, and that can be quite tiring and anxiety producing. Last night, for example, my mother and my uncle teamed up to corner me in the hall and forced me to try and dance Sevillanas, which were easy enough except I had just learned the basic step two minutes before and needed time to practice. I´m not exactly the quickest learner when it comes to body movement coordination. But other than that, I try to sun bathe, and try to work out... realizing I pitifully skinny. We went to the gay part of Madrid the other day and I only got noticed by the 30 and over crowd. That might be because I haven´t cut my hair in two months (i´ve decided to grow it out and see what happens... maybe this isn´t the ideal time for that)... or that I´m disgustingly ugly... or that we didn´t go to the right clubs... in any case, I´m hoping some color and some girth might improve the batting average of my next trip to la Chueca.
And so that´s pretty much how I pass my time here, jumping from one experience to another without much time afterwards to process until a few days later when it all happens subconciously. I have about another three to four weeks of this and then I go home. It seems so anti-climactic.
Now, how´s the trip, I mean, besides the description of what your doing. Are you enjoying yourself? How´re things with the partner in crime? Have you taught anyone yet? Do you get reimbursed for your hotel stays? Have you felt the grim touch of the homophobic reaper? Did you think of Matthew Sheppard when you looked at the Wyomming landscape (cause I sure fucking did and it gave me chills)? How´s life?
--Your friend (you should know who... and if you don´t... well... next time I´ll just have to be more obvious) - wouldn´t you like to know
Zachie...miss you and your huge smile and warm hugs...all the best on your journey...you were always incredibly generous and inspiring and now you will be sharing that with young, fresh and untouched little minds all over the nation, they have no idea how lucky they are to have you...Enjoy the ride...

HAHA. I can just picture the little 5-year-old sitting on in the corner whittling sticks with which to poke the other children at recess...
