Late Post
We are heading to Spain in a few weeks and wanted to have the blogs from our last trip finished up before.

Hope you are feeling better Gali!
Gali- you appear to be holding a suspicious looking cup in your hands in one of the last photos... is that, shall we say, a "specimen receptacle"? hahaha. XO

Holy Crap!!
That is the best story ever! Thank god of course that everything is alright, but that is one great story that your grandchildren will be repeating to each other. See you soon... stay safe.

I checked all the photos and I can't seem to find one of your boxers. How come the people of Cusco were lucky enough to see them but not the rest of us?!?

Awesome pics!
Hey guys! Sounds like you guys are still having an awesome time! You guys look great in the pics. Also, this place looks very livable- my favourite pics yet.

Copacabana
Regardless of where Barry had intended, Lola did drink herself half-blind so she may have thought we were actually north of Havana. Hope Tdot is good and the kids are having a great summer!!!!

Copacabana
Just wondering if there is a shrine to Barry Manilow at Copacabana? And did you meet Lola the showgirl?

You all certainly look very comfortable with that snake. I can't believe how much you are going out of your comfort zones in taking on all these adventures. Dani, Dad will be so happy to have you home so you can look after all those spiders in the basement. Be safe, and do it all!!! xoxox

Gali Kills me!
I love the image of her instructing people on her presumably rigid hygiene standards! Hilarious.

Holy!
That's crazy! (Is it really a strike though if they take attendance to ensure that everyone in the community is participating? In my mind a strike is voluntary. This reads more like "violation of human rights". But kinda fun too. hahahah). I'm glad you guys are fine. It reminds me of a border guard in Morocco taking my passport and telling me I could go into the country (where it is illegal to be without a passport) and being told to come back at dusk to get it. I really thought I was never going to see it again, and that I was stuck in the country forever. But the guard did give it back luckily (although I am sure that there are now a hundred counterfeit copies of my passport being used by Moroccan Berbers. hahaha). Stay safe in your travels!

Your parents appear calm!
Had a lovely dinner at your house tonight. Your parents only mentioned that there was possible trouble in Peru, but nothing about this. I'm glad that you got out safely and that we're not reading about you in The Gazette!

That's at least one revolution every two years!
How scary to live in a place that has that many revolutions. I hope it's safer now! Thanks for the history lesson. I didn't know most of that.

captivity
Had i not spoken to mariana at the gym who told me road strikes are a common occurence your blog would have been a little worrisome, however i was forewarned. seems like you will have all kinds of stories to tell when you come back too bad you don;t have to write an essay for school titled "what did you do this summer". love to all of you stay safe judi and david
