| 16th August 2009 Mum & Dad | - From: Cambodge Water buffalo hide jam and now tarantula - some people have all the fun... In fact, cleaning out for you at home, we have discovered plenty of spiders - should we save them for a supper one evening? Temples look atmospheric and transport seems less frenetic. |
| 16th August 2009 Parry | Cambodibodi - From: Cambodge I'm proper done up that you've enjoyed Cambodibodi as much as everyone always seems to! That sunrise photo literally took my breath away...hope you're having Bali fun! x |
| 12th August 2009 Mum & Dad | - From: Southern Vietnam Thought our Ryanair flight back from Rodez was fairly basic - but all things are relative... After all that rain, at least you are probably drying out by now in Lombok! Enjoy! |
| 5th August 2009 Hoochman Parry | Vietnamazing - From: Northern Vietnam What an experience. Gutted that you had to miss Halong Bay but as its the only thing you've had to give up on the whole trip you've done pretty well, plus seen one bay, seen em' all! Can't wait to see you guys! Parry x P.S. Is it wrong that I really like that Socialist poster? Maybe having a boyfriend from the former Soviet Bloc is taking its toll... |
| 29th July 2009 Mum & Dad | Turned out nice again - From: Laos So at last your weather has started to compete with ours... Rich and varied experiences yet again, from massages to monks to water buffalo hide jam - brilliant! |

| 16th July 2009 sue | - From: Chang Mai and Down the Mekong i'll be sorry when you come home as i am enjoying the trip so much [the slow boat reminded me of a trip on the Llangollen canal] I am keeping my eye on the dukes family they are all behaving and not getting too stresssed. You won't believe how much Poppy has grown/changed. Enjoy the rest of the trip I think that Bali is one of the loveliest places I have been to very romantic love you lots |
| 7th July 2009 Mum & Dad | - From: Singapore Another blog already! complete with more details of food experiences... Sounds as if you're having a great time still. No beaches to make us jealous this time, though. |
| 6th July 2009 Jon & Mel | Yuk to leeches! - From: KL and Our Date with an Ape! Please make sure you don't bring any leeches home with you! They sound awful! We can't wait to see how brilliant Phil will be at drawing monkeys now! |

| 5th July 2009 Mum & Dad | - From: Turtles, Elephants and a Nice Cup of Tea! Turtles and fish look fantastic - what an experience, swimming along with them - and away from the tourist trail too (but you've also had a taste of that, it seems). That beach looks idyllic - can't imagine you wanting to leave that for Sheffield - what do you reckon, Hevs? |
| 2nd July 2009 Mum & Dad | - From: KL and Our Date with an Ape! Glad Sepilok was such a success; after the digeridoo, we're now awaiting the DHL package containing a baby orangutan... |
| 30th June 2009 Hevtington | Monkeymonkeymonkeymonkey - From: KL and Our Date with an Ape! Having had to watch that damn orangutan screensaver for nigh on two years, I know how much you two must have been spazzing out about this! Looks pretty amazing even for someone who isn't particularly a friend of the apes, and the turtle thing sounds wicked! Phenomenal photo of the towers too Phillis....Missing you both! x |
| 28th June 2009 JohnMarcelo | LoL - From: Bohol and Malapascua Nice trip! That pronounciation thing was ridiculous; my parents who grew up in the Philippines mix up P and F. Anyways did you try banana ketchup?? Cow dung and dog dung is famous everywhere lol.... and did u notice about the died frogs on the road after the rain... Thanks for sharing!! |
| 24th June 2009 jon mel and poppy. | nice one! - From: Bohol and Malapascua 50p G&T mum must be proud of you! Also, the underwater shot shows you have really been working on your leg extension, much improvement over the New Zeland cartwheel. 8/10. All looks plipping pantastic! |
| 22nd June 2009 Hevs | Shits and giggles - From: Bohol and Malapascua I was literally laughing out loud and reading parts of this to my flatmates and their Aussie mates...the Carpenters?! Seriously? Please let Phil know that my boss's boyfriend's penchant for Phil Collins was quite the point of hilarity at work this week. It should soothe him to know that he's not alone in suffering from that terrible affliction. I do like his maroon redneck shirt though, it's very Canadian. Awesome photos, as ever! Hevs - Looking down on creation... |

| 17th June 2009 Hilary & David | Paradise - From: The Pleasures and Pains of Palawan Hi- We've both got a sever case of envy of your experiences. Good to see you in what definitely looks like paradise. The lagoons look so inviting - swimming in Wrexham doesn't have the same feel somehow. Enjoy it all. Love Hilary & David |
| 16th June 2009 Mum & Dad | - From: The Pleasures and Pains of Palawan Can't have the Paradise without the Purgatory, I suppose... but doesn't it look worth it!! |
| 15th June 2009 Jon & Mel | Travel nightmares - From: The Pleasures and Pains of Palawan And we thought public transport in the green horse was bad! Despite the transport chaos the rest of your trip sounds brilliant and these photos look amazing. Love to you both x |
| 14th June 2009 Hevs | Wahhh - From: The Pleasures and Pains of Palawan Ah, the perils of travel! I remember waiting 4 hours for a 12 hr bus in Thailand, and three of us being taken seperately on the back of mopeds to the last of three different 'bus stations' - but then again they're all funny stories after the grinding resentment against the transport system has subsided! This made me smile a lot - it seems like you're having idyllic moments that you'll always remember, and the photos are stunning. Miss you guys loads, and from the weight of the bags I assume you're doing your usual overbuying! Can't wait for the next one :D x Love you!! |
