I've spent this summer going all around Majorca on a motorbike. I stayed in Palma and then visited cities like Portocristo, Alcúdia, Inca, Manacor, Valldemóssa, Sóller, Sant Elm, Sa Dragonera, Andratx, etc. I also went to visit "Les coves del Drach" and sunbathe in many beaches as "Cala Mondragó" or "Cala Varques".... read more
Croatia is an aquatic land. Every place you go, you may find sea, rivers or lakes. We made a one week trip around croatia. Croatia is named HRVATSKA in croatian. The money used in croatia is called KUNA. 1 KUNA is 100 LIPAS. And more or less 1 euro is 7 Kunas. Our first stop and were we landed was Zagreb, the capital. Zagreb is a very charming town, with a tramway that works 24h and a huge principal plaza which is the center of the city. We left for Plitvice the day after by bus. It took around 2 hours and the landscape was amazing. Plitvice Jezera was my very favourite place of the whole trip. The waterfalls and the lakes are so beautiful. The color of the water is incredibly blue, as if you ... read more
I've wished so many times this travel could come true, and here I am. I've been 21 days in Japan. I took my plane from Paris and landed on the morning at Kansai airport, near Osaka at 8h30 am more or less. The flight's 11 hours killed me but I was enough strong to go to Matsusaka, in Mie prefecture were my japanese friend lived and where I was supposed to stay on my first week. Matsusaka is a calm place. I had the opportunity to live in a Japanese style house with a japanese family. The dad collected a sort of strange bugs with long legs. I hate bugs but I have to admit that they made a very beautiful sound at night. Looked like little bells. The mum gave me breakfast every morning. She ... read more
This was my first step outside Europe. I spent almost two weeks in Morocco. My plane landed at Casablanca (Dar el beida). There we rented a car and visited some of the most important cities in Morocco. In Casablanca there was not two much to see except Hassan II's Mosque which was enormous. Rabat's Kasbah of the oudaïa was very beautiful with the blue and white paintings on the walls. We saw Hassan II's tower and take a look at the Chellah Necropolis that was also interesting but kind of abandoned. After Casablanca and Rabat we headed East to Fez and stopped at the ancient town of Meknes. This town kept the essences of the past and I liked too much the curved streets, but unfortunately the Moulay Ismaïl Mausoleum was closed and we had to ... read more
Without planning anything I just jumped on a train for Rennes to see one of my friends. It was the first time I was in Rennes. Last year I had already been in Brest (I'll try to add some pics of there also). I tought Rennes would had lost everything from the "britanny style", but I got wrong. Very beautiful city mixing culture and modern. I didn't believe that before but Rennes has a subway! and sincerely, I was surprised it worked so good and was well entertained. In fact all the city was well entertained. I enjoyed so much walking by the streets of the old town. The houses had the same shape as years before and I loved that. The weather is very strange in Brittany: 5 minutes of rain, 5 minutes of sun, ... read more
I went to London for the first time in my life on this new year's eve. I stayed 5 days in a horrible hotel situated in Clapham Common, but at least I could sleep and it was warm. I loved that city! and I was surprised about the prices that I thought would be higher. But I was wrong. The things I liked the most are Camden Town, Covent Garden, The houses of parliament, stabuck's coffee and many more ahaha! I'll put some pictures that I took there with my new camera ;) enjoy ... read more
It was on april. My italian friend proposed to a friend and me to come to her home, at the same time she was our guide all along the Tuscany cities we visited in a hurry. First of all we arrived at Marco Polo's airtport, near Venezia. Her aunt picked up us and lead us to her town Castelfranco, quite near. We visited a near famous city called Padova. They selled really good tasting cakes with mandarin flavour inside. Venezia was as beautiful as aways, and Castelfranco was a very interesting place with an old castle were there was a traditional selling of potteries, wood-made things etc... Then we took a train to Firenze and we stayed 4 days more or less. What a beautiful city! The Ufizzi museum was also very interesting. There were ... read more
This is the last place I went in my huge trip. Nice is a city in near the mediterranean sea, next to Marseille. It's well know for tourists because its beach is really beautiful, and also, like all cities in the south east of France, well known for its the casinos. We stayed just one day in here, but we wanted this day for relaxing, spending all the day in the beach (and we did it). At first we ate something in a restaurant next to the beach. I took "moules & frites". I like moules, and there were really good (even if the service in the restaurant was horrible). We had fun all the day, and in the night we went out for walking throught the "promenade des anglais", and went back to hotel. In ... read more
One of the most beautiful places I visited in my trip. The first night I spend it all alone, because my friends were in Wien and I had a fly from krakow to milano and then to Venice. First time I was quite scared, cause I had never been in Italy before and I had to find my hotel in my own at 11 pm. When I got out from the airport I took a bus that lead me to Venice, and when I arrived at St. Lucia station I searched for the Vapporetto, and without paying, I waited until San Tomà's stop. I followed the 3 persons that stopped there and I got in the place I wanted. I found my hostel called "Haven hostel", I answered to the quizz and talked with the ... read more
