Well the time has come to journey home soon. Tonight we will have our last night in Chicago. Unfortunately we are again standing in the Apple shop doing this so no photos. Last night we had cocktails on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building. Absolutely beautiful view. Had Chicago Italian smorgasbord on the restuarant pavement. Hi All Sorry it has been so long. Amanda and I arrived in Chicago a couple of days ago. Tania still in Toronto, she shall arrive later today. There are no internet cafes around at all. So I am standing in the middle of the "apple" shop in Downtown Chicago, surrounded by 50 billion computers. They let you use them, all with internet-but unfortunately not able to download photos. So I have spent yesterday and today touring around by my lonesome. I have been to the Shedd aquarium, Alder Planetarium, and the Field Museum-(has its own McDonalds and bakery inside)!!!! Well we have just spent the day walking around Quebec City, what a beautiful town. Lots of old buildings, people very nice(would be better if we could speak a little more French. Mum you will be happy to know we attended mass at the Cathedral, in French to boot! Having a quiet night tonight with a big day planned for tomorrow. Pictures are from WashingtonDC and Quebec today. Hi all< Well we have spent the last two days touring around Washington DC. This is our last night here. Our favourite places have been- mt. vernon, changing of the guard at Arlington (hot Boys!!!!!) saw the australian embassy, we don't wish to see the inside. George w is in town but he hasn't invited us to the white house as yet. Lots of police everywhere, lots of baggage checks and scannners-lucky our reproductive years are past us. Hi All Well its our last day in New York. Up early to catch the train to Washington DC. Spent the day doing what we do best- shopping. Also went to NYU, Wall Street, Madison Square Garden, Soho, more men in uniform, and the site of the world trade centre. Quite spooky, lots of work going on to rebuild the new Trade Tower. The city gets more exciting and beautiful as every day goes past. Anyway, have a nice cold beer on ice waiting for us so shall check in soon. Love to everyone, don't work to hard!! Hello From God's Country, After a long, long flight but loaded with a bottle of Dom! Yes Dom! From our new friend "Dino" the steward, we then survived LAX and made to JFK. On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful suite( shame it didn't happen on the flight). So far this has been our adventure- Time Square at night, broadway show(Curtains), Central Park(Tania got us lost), Empire State Building, Sak, Guggenheim, American Museum of Natural History, Mastered the art of the subway!!, Cruised around the lady herself, saw Ellis Island!
