| 29th July 2008 Will and Carina | Yo! - From: Lions and Cheetahs and Elephants - Oh My! Safari was Awesome! Hi, guys. We're back from our little jaunt to the Masai Mara. It was worth the trip. We were able to see the animals up close. I guess Kenya has fewer park restrictions so the guides can drive right up to the animals (25 meters, technically, but hey, who's looking?). Nice to meet you both and hope you have fun on your continued journey. This is our blog which hasn't been updated recently, but we're workin' on it: http://willandcarina.travellerspoint.com/. Look forward to your updates. |
| 21st July 2008 John | nice pics - From: Lions and Cheetahs and Elephants - Oh My! Safari was Awesome! These pictures are cool. I'm so excited that you got to see these animals in their natural habitats. Looking forward to catching you guys in 2 weeks. John |

| 2nd July 2008 Nancy&Miriam | Memories - From: We are now in Lilongwe, Malawi Djambo T&L. Great to get your blog (out of my spam folder.) I remember East Africa as being one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, especially Dar. Something primal; like coming home to an original space. Most of the people are wonderful, but for a few, watch your back! I had my clothes stolen, practically off my back (long story, not for public.) What an adventure! And 48 hours on the bus -- what can I say... Haraka, haraka ina baraka (loosely, haste makes waste); no hurry in Africa. Stay safe. Kwaheri, Nancy [I've just exhausted all my Swahili.] |
