A small group of volunteers and myself travelled to South East Asia as a Tsunami Relief Effort immediately following the 2004 Tsunami Disaster that devastated the Andaman Coast of Thailand. We arrived in Bangkok after a 19 hour flight that stopped in Osaka, Japan. After about 3 days of exploring the city, we bused it down to Khura Buri on the South West coast. There was a shanty camp set up for the survivors who were displaced off the island of Kho Pra Thong. We assisted in helping these gracious people build a bridge and several other projects.
