The Best of Canada
You are really seeing the best of Canada. Some of what you are seeing, I haven't seen (Adrian has seen most of BC and Alta but that was before I met him). I have been to Lake Louise and it was beautiful. Fortunately I was guest speaking and my expenses were paid for at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel. When you get a moment, please email us and let us know what you want to see in Vancouver so that we can get an idea of how we can put the days together and if there will be time for us to show you a few spots that we know of. You are still very lucky with the weather. Hope it lasts for the entire trip for you. See you soon, Brenda and Adrian

Spectacular
I told you that the Rockies would make up for any boring scenery that you had passed. You have some fabulous pictures that really show the beauty. I am so happy to hear that you have not been disappointed and WOW, you have been so lucky with all the great weather. Hopefully you will bring it with you to Vancouver for your final two days. lots of love Brenda and Adrian

Spectacular
I told you that the Rockies would make up for any boring scenery that you had passed. You have some fabulous pictures that really show the beauty. Terrace is for sports
Terrace is a place to white water kayak and down hill and cross country ski, hunt and fish, and canoe. People that go for the sports love it. I have sent you a fabulous deal for Canmore. Even though you don't need a two bedroom suite, this one is only 99.50 a night if you stay two nights and you can cook and it has hot springs. Very nice so please check your emails (the one I always send to). Also, I sent you information about the Listel Hotel that we will stay at in Vancouver. Adrian and I are working very hard now. It has been very busy. The sun does peek out between rain and today is supposed to be nice. We will see. The Rockies will make up for all the boring travel you have done so far. You took the sun with you
It continued to rain after we dropped you off at the ferry so after doing a few emails (imagine being able to do your emails from the comfort of your camper in a campsite) then brought all the tent and bed in and drove back to Campbell River. The sun came out for the afternoon and we went for a nice walk on the trail. Most of the day we just relaxed and read and thought about our great trip with you. We were so lucky with the weather. We had sun or at least no rain for all the places that we took you to see. Adrian and I weren't able to sit out and have a fire at our last night in Campbell River. It was too cold. So again, that was good luck that the four of us enjoyed a campfire at the water's edge. Then later that night it rained and we also had thunder and lightening. More rain the next day. More rain last night. After reviewing our week with you we feel very good about all the sights that we were able to take you to and all the wild life you were able to see. We hope that your journey continues to be such a great success and we will look forward to seeing all the places that you visit through your blog (although I am sure none will compare to the beauty and excitement of Qualicum) and spending the last two days of your trip with you. love Brenda and Adrain

Wat een avontuur
Hoi Ton en Ciska, Wat een avonturen beleven jullie! Leuk om te lezen. Ik heb ook nog goed nieuws even tussendoor... ik heb een huis!!! Wel in Delft, maar ben er zelf heel blij mee. Het is huur, dus met mogelijkheid om toch weer in Maassluis terug te komen ;-) Groetjes Judith

Hoi Veronique, je hebt helemaal gelijk. Het weer knapte enorm op onderweg en we hebben genoten van de inside passage. Heel veel wal vissen gezien en dan die kronkelige tocht langs al die eilanden. In de volgende blog gaan we hier in meer detail op in.

Boten en beren
Hoi Ton en Ciska, een druiligere boottocht kan aan het einde van de dag toch in spectaculaire avondluchten eindigen, waarbij de verstilling van de natuur je raakt. Enne ... mooie trackrecord van het aantal beren en dan zijn jullie pas anderhalve week onderweg! Maar je weet het hè: drank en beren (niet persé in combinatie) maken meer kapot dan je lief is ;-)

Berenjacht
Hi luitjes, Ik heb begrepen dat er een zwarte berenplaag is bij jullie. Dus neem je hengel maar mee (daarmee kun je goed wilde dieren vangen las ik ;-) Kijk uit voor de Grizzlys, die zijn echt gevaarlijk volgens jouw lunchverhalen. Have fun! Willem

Wat een prachtige tuin zeg!
Ik heb mam aan de telefoon verteld dat jullie goed zijn gearriveerd. Jullie hebben in twee dagen tijd al heel wat beleefd ! En hoe smaakt zo'n verse zalm? Zijn jullie bij vrienden of werkcollegas? In ieder geval lijken jullie in luxe te baden. Heel andere verhalen lees ik bij Tjerk op zijn weblog- hij heeft nu drie weken vakantie met zijn vriendin. Veel plezier en genot - groeten Gea
