Happy xmas & NYE - From: Dancing dwarves don Elvis masks
Hey Tom, can hardly believe the fast pace you´re holding up. And am so jealous you´re barely halfway. We´re nearing the end of our trip here, can feel the time pressure so am trying to cram all the adventures we can possibly fit in the next 3 weeks. Enjoy & hasta luego, Tuyet & Steve

Hi - From: Mugged in the middle of the world
Tom, great reading journals 6 & 7. Yup, the Oz-Uraguay win was sensational. It's the draw this week, so we'll see who is in what group. Hope you survived the "bad experience" in Quito OK. Enjoy Colombia, and all the natural beauty ;-)

Hi Tom, your travel adventures make for very entertaining reading. Pleased to hear you survived the death road (just!): sounds like the work of our ex roads minister, Carl Scully (the cross-city tunnel here has been a disaster). Take care, and hope your travels through the arch bring many more wonderful experiences!

sounds like your having fun, keep it up! Interesting to see Bolivia has many of the same problems other countries have: deforestation; soil erosion; desertification; loss of biodiversity; pollution of water.

Great place to be! - From: Chicas in spray on blue jeans
Hi Tom. What a great trip you are having/in for. I was in Argentina, Bolivia and Peru in 1989 and enjoyed everything - except the stomach sickness acquired on Isla del Sol in Peru. Don't miss Iguazu whatever you do, be prepared to take about a million photos. Stay well, looking forward to your next instalment. JB.

Tom, great initiative. What a great way to follow your adventures. But I must join with Jim in calling for more photos. We know you can take great pics with that digital of yours so where are they all? One pic is normally worth a 1000 words but in the case of those spray on blue jeans I think the going exchange rate might be closer to 2000 to 1.
