So glad you can join us as we trek around the world looking for that which may still be discovered. As we take this exploration, we would like to encourage you to "subscribe" so that you may receive an automatic update every time that we have added new entries and photos. We are also glad to have any responses to our pictures and stories. Please know that we miss you all and are anticipating the day that we may travel back to the South and enjoy the rest of our lives with those we love. Until then, however, this travel journal will have to suffice.
Peace,
Tim and Katherine

Greetings from the Vestman Islands! We have some more pics here for you. Not as many as yesterday because we´re working on a different computer. But there´s enough to enjoy! We have had a gorgeous but windy day here on the island and have decided to stay another night because we are enjoying the town and seeing the puffin penguins so much!!! Can´t wait to show you the pics of those. One popped up just a few feet away from us today as we lay in the grass hiding near their nests. Also, if you´re wondering about Sigur Ross, check out their music through the link below. They are by far some of Timmy´s most inspirational musicians. If you want to appreciate them, don´t watch the video the first time you...just close your eyes, turn it ... read more
Greetings Everyone! Hope this message finds you well!!! We have finally found an internet site in a library where we can upload pictures!!!! Our adventure has been a wonderful one, to say the least, though we must admit it has been a difficult trek (physically and mentally)... but extrememly rewarding to this point. We have dared to try a variety of food at one buffet so far, in Ilulissat, that consisted of whale, whale skin (gross), reindeer, muskox (tim´s favorite), and a bunch of other meats and seafood. We hope you enjoy the pictures! We are getting on a ferry in 2 hours to visit the Vestmann Islands (Home of the Puffin Penguin!). Our apologies for not having the rest of our pictures up, but we hope to have them finished soon. Lots of Love, Tim ... read more
Hallo All! Ve are having a Vunderfull time and miss you all wery much! We write to you this evening from Nuuk, Greenland while the sun shines through the kitchen window of our host´'s home. They are sitting next to us here at the dinner table as we wash clothes in their vashing machine...ya! We really wish we could post some pictures, but as you will hopefully soon see, we have been in some extremely remote areas. For example, a couple of days ago we had an SUV take us from the airport to the only hotel in Kulusk. From there, we hiked for 2 hours through the snow to actually get to the city. Of course, we could have paid $100 to dogsled our way in (god bless the weak american dollar), but what fun ... read more

the Spanish Conquest Tim Tucker So, we survived the run. Well....actually, nobody ran...Katherine and Bobby tried to run but the crowd was too large so the Spanish Cops started beating people with their battons forcing hundreds to leave the street and watch from the side. One friend of ours, "Boston" (thats what we called him), His leg was wacked once and within 10 minutes it was black and blue. However, he still managed to run. We were able to get tickets yesterday to a bullfight. Although it was a good lesson on Spanish culture, it was quite disturbing to watch. After watching 3 bulls get slowly tortuted and finally killed (Alison, Kat and Bobby stayed for all 6) Tim decided he did not want to support the events (basically the bulls doing the "bull run" ... read more
