On saturday I met up with Alex and her boyfriend both of whom I met in Whistler. We rented surf boards and surfed at Cox Bay. The waves were alright can't complain as I'm not that good yet. Guimes most of with 3 other staff members from the outpost. The hike was from sea level to 1100 meters. This was a steep hike the whole way up. Very scenic views at the top and throughout the hike. It took us 6 hours to hike up and 4 hours to get back down.
