Helllllllllo! Sorry for my lack of writing. Despite all of my gramatical errors, it actually takes forever to do one of these things! I forgot where I left off with, so bare with me... The rest of Sydney was amazing! we went to an outdoor movie and watched 'Australia.' Yes, we watched Australia, in Australia, so cheesy I know! The weather was amazinf for most of the 3-ish weeks that we there... except for Australia Day, which also happened to be Julie's birthday. We sat in a park around the harbour with a couple of friends and drank wine in the rain. It was still fun nevertheless! We didn't really go out that much, since the place we were staying at was a suburb outside the city and it was kind of weird getting home. We ... read more

Why helllllllllllllo again! How are you going?? (Yes, I'm trying to sound Australian on purpose!) What have we been up to? hmmmm... let me start with Port Macquarie. We ended up staying there for a couple of days. Very cute town, but the highlight was definitely the Billabong Zoo! I'm not one to get overly excited about a zoo, but damn this one was awesome. We got to feed and pet dingos, koalas and kangaroos! So cliche, I know, but how often does that happen?? Koalas are now definitely one of my favorite animals. Seriously, they sleep for about 18 hours a day in the most random positions, and they are just so adorable. We went back an hour later to see if they had moved at all, and no they were still busy... sleeping. haha ... read more

On our last day in Byron I managed to burn my eyebrows and my ears. When I woke up the next day my ride sife of my face, which I slept on was completely swollen. I now know that I have to put sunscreen EVERYWHERE! We are now in Coffs harbour which means... WE ARE NO LONGER SLEEPING ON THE GROUND!! I had never been so happy to sleep in a bed, and slept like a baby, hahah. We were only here for a couple of days, and pretty much just wandered around the city. Smaller places in Australia are known for their large monuments of random objects. Naturally, we started our trip by visiting a giant banana, and it was definitely as cheesy as it sounded... hahh. We then wandered over to a dutch themed ... read more

We officially made it to Byron Bay! Such a beautiful place, but oh my god, what a bitch to find a place to stay! Since it it summer and peak season, all of the hostels were booked out. We went around for about 3 or 4 hours looking for hostels or motels to stay in, but that was a no go! Definitely soemthing that you do not want to deal with when you're hungry, bloody hot, and have a backpack to haul around!! We had this really sketchy guy offer us to stay in a giant tent on his farm about 15 minutes away from Byron, but for some reason I couldn't get the name Robert Pickton off my mind. We decided not to go for that option! In the end we bought a tent and ... read more

Julie and I have officially made some plans... hahah. We are leaving for Byron Bay on Wednesday morning and plan on staying there for a few days. We're slowly making our way down to Sydney where we plan on being for Australia day... hahah. We want to stay there for a week and a bit and then make our way to New Zealand. Exciting stuff! Since we will be leaving Jessy and John's humble abode, that means a lot less internet, meaning I will not be able to update this bad boy as often as I have been. Don't you worry, I'll still be on here!! Until next time... ... read more

Why hellllllllllllllllllo! We're still in Brisbane, and so far so good. I don't really remember what I wrote in the last post so I might be a bit repetitive. We were one of the first to ring in the new year, so that was pretty cool. We had a bbq at Jessy and John's place; low key but lots of fun! John thought it was a good to pour two bottles of champagne on everyone, so he did! hahha. So far we've just been wandering around the city doing little day trips here and there. The humidity, my god, is a killer! We take a couple of cold showers a day, but that only cools you down for about 15 minutes, haha. I feel like such a mess, hahah. Other than that, lovely city! The people ... read more

Allllllrighty, the trip has finally started, and at the moment I am pooped so I might start to ramble and not make sense. It all started with about an 11 hour flight to Seoul. We then had an hour layover and stayed in Singapore for a day. When we landed in Singapore it was about 11:30pm, local time, and 29 degrees... my God!! All I pretty much knew about Singapore is that it's a city state and damn clean. And that it was! The people there were so friendly, and there was never a point where I felt unsafe. With our day Jessy and I pretty much just stumbled around city, being touristy and such (pictures are up on Facebook). We then made our way back to the airport and took a 7 hour flight to ... read more

I'll try to keep you lovelies up to date on our travels over this site! I'm a maaajor fan of postcards, so if you want one at one point e-mail me your address or message me it over Facebook. I have no idea how to do anything on this site other than post things, so if you want to send me a message, again, please send it to me via e-mail or Facebook! The travels begin on Saturday, with an hour layover in Seoul and a day layover in Singapore. It will probably be exhausting, but I'm excited to wander around and see a bit of Singapore.
