Amsterdam and Reflection on the trip

I apologize that this post is coming so late after our trip ended. I planned on writing it a day or two after we got back but with work starting only four days after our return I got held up. Amsterdam was a great way to finish off the trip. One of the most unique cities we visited and definitely found more there than we expected. All pot jokes aside it really had a laid back vibe that helped us

Praha to Hamburg

It is safe to say that Praha lived up to the hype. Many of our friends described it as one of the most unique cities in the world and they spoke the truth. Our first two days in Prague were awesome and the last two even better. We spent one day climbing a hill to some beer gardens at the top. It was one of the best views you can get of the city and was one of my favorite memories from the trip. Pl

Eastern Europe

Sorry for the gap in between blogs. We have been on the move a lot and have been really busy. In a good way.Last time I left you we had our sites set on Munich and let me tell you it did not disappoint. There are a few suggestions I have for America from this trip and the number one thing is beer gardens. Probably the best invention ever. It39s like happy hour but instead of pints of beer they

The Matterhorn

After our adventures in Kos we were off to Switzerland. After a night over in Milan we took the train to Zermatt which is a small ski town at the base of the Matterhorn. If you don39t know what the Matterhorn is google it. It is one of the most striking things I have ever seen. Maybe you have ridden the Matterhorn at Disneyland. Let me point out the obvious but there is no comparison. It is tr

Kos Narnia

My apologies to all of my loyal followers. We have been without Internet for the better part of the last week or have been traveling very frequently. Where to begin.......Kos Greece is a small island off the coast of Turkey. It is one of Scandinavia39s most popular vacation destinations. Everyone we met there was either Swedish Norwegian Danish or Finish. That39s it. Probably the best fi

Running of the Bulls

Hands down the most insane experience of my life. The running of the bulls in Pamplona is incredible. It started with the opening ceremonies which essentially consisted of a lot of chanting followed by people pouring wine all over each other. It is quite literally the largest party ever. After a few plastic bottles of incredibly cheap sangria the party really gets started. People on the top floors

Well I finally got onto a regular computer so I can upload some photos. These are some pictures our friend Ashley took with her nice SLR camera. San Sebastian proved to be the highlight of the trip thus far. Wake up late food beach nap food go out was our routine and it was awesome. Everyone should make DonostiaSan Sebastian a bucket list item. We met some great people and the food.........m

Well well well. The first problem of the trip. After a fantastic time in London doing just about everything possible we thought that this trip was trending upwards. Apparently europe had other plans. We go to the train station to buy our ticket for San Sebastian andddddddd the train was full for like the next three days. Sooooo after weighing our options we decided to rent a car. Yes you read that

Local look

Finally figured out how to edit these posts. Anyway we have been enjoying a more local look at life in London. We saw Abbey Road where the Beatles had their famous studio and the cross walk from the cover of their famous album. The area is very very nice. The houses and apartments around the studio are definitely some of nicest in the city. We also saw Lord Cricket39s Stadium which is the oldes

Another two days in London have come and gone with many highlights. Yesterday we ventured to Camden market in north central London. Very very similar to a Berkeley vibe. Street vendors small shops street food and a great open air market. Enjoyed a few beers at world39s end bar with a giant glass ceiling and a cool upstairs siting area. So many old pubs with what we are calling career pub

We did some sight seeing today. We took the tube into central London and saw them setting up for The Olympics. The main street in London called regent street had all the country flags hanging. It was pretty cool. We headed over convent gardenwhich is a
