I will be traveling Europe for 6 weeks with my friends Matt Rudow and Sean Fitzpatrick. We all start the real world upon return and are looking to have a good time before we become functioning members of society. We plan on immersing ourselves in the culture and gaining a better perspective of the world. Just looking for a good time with good people. Cheers!

I apologize that this post is coming so late after our trip ended. I planned on writing it a day or two after we got back but with work starting only four days after our return I got held up. Amsterdam was a great way to finish off the trip. One of the most unique cities we visited and definitely found more there than we expected. All pot jokes aside, it really had a laid back vibe that helped us finish off our trip strong. The best way to see the sites in this city is by bike. In the two days we rented bikes we saw the Ann Frank House, the Van Gogh museum, the Red Light District, did the Heiniken Tour, and much more. Out of everything we did I think the Heiniken Tour ... read more

It is safe to say that Praha lived up to the hype. Many of our friends described it as one of the most unique cities in the world and they spoke the truth. Our first two days in Prague were awesome and the last two even better. We spent one day climbing a hill to some beer gardens at the top. It was one of the best views you can get of the city and was one of my favorite memories from the trip. Playing some light music on the iPhone enjoying some beers with good company. It was a very relaxing time. That evening we ventured to the best meal we had in the Czech Republic and one of the best of the trip. This place was unbelievable. It was home to the largest beer ... read more

Sorry for the gap in between blogs. We have been on the move a lot and have been really busy. In a good way. Last time I left you we had our sites set on Munich and let me tell you it did not disappoint. There are a few suggestions I have for America from this trip and the number one thing is beer gardens. Probably the best invention ever. It's like happy hour but instead of pints of beer they are liters of beer and they are outside and cheap. Half of a baked chicken, fries, two liters of beer 10 euro. America needs to adopt this ASAP. We visited many different beer gardens but the most incredible one was not in Munich. We took a one hour train ride south to a lake town ... read more

After our adventures in Kos we were off to Switzerland. After a night over in Milan, we took the train to Zermatt which is a small ski town at the base of the Matterhorn. If you don't know what the Matterhorn is google it. It is one of the most striking things I have ever seen. Maybe you have ridden the Matterhorn at Disneyland. Let me point out the obvious but there is no comparison. It is truly one of those "holy shit" moments when you see it for the first time. During the train ride to Zermatt our jaws were dropped just looking at the surrounding Alps. They literally felt as if they were going to fall on top of you. Almost engulf you. But when you get that first view of the Matterhorn itself....It ... read more

My apologies to all of my loyal followers. We have been without Internet for the better part of the last week or have been traveling very frequently. Where to begin....... Kos, Greece is a small island off the coast of Turkey. It is one of Scandinavia's most popular vacation destinations. Everyone we met there was either Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finish. That's it. Probably the best five days of my life and I'm sure Matt and Sean would agree. It is a fantasy land. Gorgeous beaches, bars, clubs, warm water, and the people are just as nice. Brian showed us a great time. Yes I will admit that the late night partying with all the free drinks we could get was a lot of fun but honestly some of the more sober moments proved to be ... read more

Running of the Bulls

Hands down the most insane experience of my life. The running of the bulls in Pamplona is incredible. It started with the opening ceremonies which essentially consisted of a lot of chanting followed by people pouring wine all over each other. It is quite literally the largest party ever. After a few plastic bottles of incredibly cheap sangria the party really gets started. People on the top floors of the cities main square poor wine down on the crowd below. Everyone in there white and red outfitts running the streets and drinking, drinking, drinking. After indulging in a few local beverages and taking a nice siesta outside of the bull arena we ran into some familiar faces. Brady and Lani Amack and George Moore just happen to be standing in the same line. after the initial ... read more

Well I finally got onto a regular computer so I can upload some photos. These are some pictures our friend Ashley took with her nice SLR camera. San Sebastian proved to be the highlight of the trip thus far. Wake up late, food, beach, nap, food, go out was our routine and it was awesome. Everyone should make Donostia-San Sebastian a bucket list item. We met some great people and the food.........mind blowing. The best tapas place is called Bar Haizea. We went to four or five locations during our time there and this one was the best. Not even close. And did I mention it was the cheapest out of all the places? Yea I can not explain it either. After our last train mishap we were much more proactive booking our tickets to both ... read more

Well well well. The first problem of the trip. After a fantastic time in London doing just about everything possible we thought that this trip was trending upwards. Apparently europe had other plans. We go to the train station to buy our ticket for San Sebastian andddddddd the train was full for like the next three days. Sooooo after weighing our options we decided to rent a car. Yes you read that correctly. We drove from Paris France nine hours south to San Sebastian Spain. Needless to say it was an adventure. Matt at the wheel Sean navigating and Tim keeping it real in the back. We made a few wrong turns and one very close run in with an empty tank of gas but made it in one piece. Big shout out to our car ... read more

Paris is awesome. We are staying at Smart Place hostel a short metro ride from just about anything you could possibly want to see. Staying at the hostels are a great time. Really easy to meet people and find hidden gems in the city. So far we have met people from London, Australia, US, China, and Ireland just to name a few. The hostel is very near quick food and a delicious pastry/bakery place that is sure to add an extra 10 pounds. The people running the hostel are very cool as well. We met up with one of Matts friends who lives here in London. She basically was our tour guide for the day yesterday. We saw Arc de Triomphe Etoile, Napoleon's grave, Sacre Coeur, The Siene, Ecole Militaire, and a lot more. Everything is ... read more

Finally figured out how to edit these posts. Anyway we have been enjoying a more local look at life in London. We saw Abbey Road where the Beatles had their famous studio and the cross walk from the cover of their famous album. The area is very very nice. The houses and apartments around the studio are definitely some of nicest in the city. We also saw Lord Cricket's Stadium which is the oldest cricket stadium in the world. The neighborhood is called Maida Vale. I think the rest of the day will be spent relaxing. Tomorrow we are off to Paris! We are catching the 15:01 high speed rail and getting in at 18:17.... read more
