The main reason for going was to attend Daddy's cousin Julie's wedding. I had never met her or many of daddy's relatives. I also had never been to a wedding so this was going to be a lot of fun. It was to be a short tri http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/California/Los-Angeles/blog-448776.html Gothenburg Sweden Well it was back to where we started this trip and where we would end it.... Sweden. We returned to the Volvo factory to give the car back. Daddy was now going to have to wait 68 weeks until the car arrives in Miami and drive the ugly car until it arrives.. I was really sad to say goodbye to the car with no top. I was very happy that when I arrived they gave me back my Liseberg rabbit that http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Sweden/Vastra-Gotaland/Gothenburg/blog-426739.html Copenhagen Denmark Time of for the last new country on our trip.....3 nights in Copenhagen. This time we couchsurfed at Jorn and Line's house. They have a couple kids each but unfortunately they were staying with their other parents at the time of our visit. The good news was that I could play with their stuff and watch their movies. They even had a swan lake movie like the story of the ballet I saw in Russia http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Denmark/Region-Hovedstaden/Copenhagen/blog-426728.html Berlin Germany This is the only country on this trip that Daddy and I had been to before. Well I only was kind of there as it was only 1 night in Frankfurt when I was 4 months old when we were moving from Italy to the USA and we did not catch our connection. This time it was 2 nights in Berlin. We arrived at our hostel Wombat and were told that we had a free upgrade to the apartment room. This place wa http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/blog-426719.html Auschwitz Poland When we left warsaw Tomek told us that it was better to drive South for a couple hours then go NE to go to Berlin as the roads were much better and no construction. He recommended spending a couple hours in Wroclaw on the way. However when daddy was driving he realized that it would be less than 30 minutes out of the way to go to Auschwitz and he thought this was better than stopping in a city http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Poland/Lesser-Poland/Auschwitz/blog-426713.html Warsaw Poland I was looking forward to going to Poland the whole trip. This was because we were going to stay at 2 couchsurfers who stayed at our place in Miami one night 2 months ago. There names are Tomek and Julka and I liked them a lot. It was great to see them again and they had a dog who liked me a lot maybe too much as well as 3 cats. I really liked staying at their house. They cooked us a great m http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Poland/Masovia/Warsaw/blog-426610.html Hill of Crosses Lithuania Lithuania was the only country on this trip that we were passing through and not spending the night. Lithuania was also the only country that I had trouble saying. Daddy wanted to spend some time at the Hill of Crosses as he thought it looked pretty cool. When we arrived I couldnt believe my eyes it was a hill that was covered with SOOOOOOOOOOO many crosses. He told me I needed to count the http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Siauliai/blog-426605.html Riga Latvia A couple movies in the car a nice drive and we arrived in Riga Latvia. Once again we couchsurfed this time with a very nice family...Rebecca was from Germany and her husband Kris was Latvian. They had a boy Konrad who was just a little younger than me. The amazing thing was that they hosted us even though they had just had their second child 1 month ago. They lived in a great apartment r http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Latvia/Riga-Region/Riga/blog-426600.html Tallinn Estonia After a 6 hour train ride picking up our car in Helsinki then a 2 hour ferry ride we arrived in Tallinn Estonia. We stayed with couchsurfers again and this time it was Luis and Maria. They are from Venezuela and moved to Estonia a couple years ago. They were very nice. We took a walk around the old part of Talinn with Luis and then met up with Maria. The old town looked like a village in http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Estonia/Tallinn/blog-426590.html St. Petersburg Russia Well it was time to leave the car with no top in Finland and take a 6 hour train to St. Petersburg Russia. Daddy had always wanted to go to Russia and I was looking forward to it as well as daddy bought tickets to a ballet Swan Lake and I also had seen pictures of a building that looked like a cake. On the train daddy accidently sat in first class and we were in a cabin with 3 guys two from http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Russia/Northwest/Saint-Petersburg/blog-426578.html HelsinkiFinland After our awesome night on the boat we had arrived in another country.....Finland. We drove to the campsite called Rastila and stayed there for 2 nights in a little cabin. Once again there were tons of kids for me to play with. 1 night I played with a boy from Sweden and the next night a boy from Holland while daddy drank wine and relaxed with the parents. The first day we took a short trai http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Finland/Uusimaa/Helsinki/blog-426432.html Baltic Sea Stockholm to Helsinki One night cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki. I did not believe daddy that the car would come with us but he was right. We did so much in less than 18 hours on the boat. We saw a trapeze act went for dinner went swimming dancing gambling saw the sun set around 11pm and saw a brazilian show. Daddy almost woke up to late as he forgot about the 1 hour time difference in Finland but we made http://www.travelblog.org/Oceans-and-Seas/blog-426337.html Stockholm Sweden We stayed at a campsite for 3 nights just outside of stockholm but this time we had a little cabin instead of using our tent. I really liked our little house. This campsite angby was incredible....it had a privat beach waterslide playground and most importantly many small kids for me to play with. It was sometimes hard for me to leave and go with daddy on the short 20 min metro ride to http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Sweden/Stockholm-County/Stockholm/blog-426336.html Orebro Sweden This the only day we did not have a reservation. Well after driving through Norway we crossed back into Sweden and we ended up at a hostel in Orebro. It was a nice hostel and we played a board game in the room. The next day we visited a castle. It was really cool looking with water in front. I am not sure why there was a hand in the water. We then took off for the short drive to Stockholm http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Sweden/Orebro-County/Orebro/blog-426331.html Flam Norway Wow what an awesome drive from Oslo to Flam. The first half was incredibly beautiful the second half even better. We went through so many tunnels and daddy and I would yell all the way from start to finish of each tunnel. Some of them were many miles long and I became out of breath and laughing at the same time. After passing lakes and mountains we arrived at the first view of an incredible http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Norway/Vestlandet/Flam/blog-426330.html Oslo Norway So we drove the 4 hours from Gothenburg to Oslo. Daddy had a good friend in Oslo named Berit. He met her many years ago in Utila Honduras and many years after that she visited him in Washington DC and they also travelled in South Africa together. They had not seen each other in over 7 years. Berit and her boyfriend Stein were very nice and have 2 kids Helena who is1 and Nikolas who is 5. http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Norway/Ostlandet/Oslo/blog-426278.html Gothenburg Sweden Finally the big summer trip has arrived just as I mastered saying the 10 countries we are travelling to. This trip was definitely going to be different than the previous trips to IndiaNepal VietnamCambodia South America....this time we went to Northern Europe on a road trip including camping and couchsurfing www.couchsurfing.org. Daddy's main reason for choosing this trip was that it was http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Sweden/Vastra-Gotaland/Gothenburg/blog-426272.html DenverUSA Back to travelling within the USA and this time we went to Denver. Daddy has a bunch of really good friends there. We stayed at Matt and Chantell's house 2 friends he met while being a waiter at a restaurant in Santa Barbara. They have been very good friends ever since and have travelled together in Brazil and Thailand. They have 2 beautiful children Veda and Riley who are about my age. http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Colorado/Denver/blog-382635.html NassauThe Bahamas Daddy took me on a 3 night cruise This was definitely a different way to travel. The only other time I slept on a boat was in Halong Bay Vietnam for 1 night but this boat was much different. It was a HUGE boat with many restaurants pools Jacuzzis and even a waterpark and miniature golf course. We went with Christy and her son Jonathon. Dad and Christy have been friends since they met in http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Bahamas/Nassau/blog-365148.html DelhiIndia We actually were in Delhi 4 different times but I decided to write about it all at once. the first 3 times were for less than 24 hours so we did the most at the end of our trip when we stayed there for 3 days. Everytime we stayed at Grand Hotel Godwin. Daddy loved it that he could leave stuff there everytime we left.Delhi had lots of great sites. We saw the Red fort which while not as impress http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/India/National-Capital-Territory/New-Delhi/blog-309922.html
