Relaxed looking grandparents Well you are looking relaxed as you should on your holiday. Its a great photo of you both. Really looking forward to hearing all about it. Have a great time in Scotland.
Love Liz and Geoff.
Windy weather Hi Vietchs one and all,
It was certainly a blowy experience at Texel. We were wondering if the weather was getting colder and thinking of you going to Scotland and what it would be like there. Weve only experienced it in summer. Youve been in our thoughts although I haven written anything for a week or so. Thanks for your long text message Alan. You obviously enjoyed your birthday from the photos and it must be fun to be altogether in St. Fillans.
I don know how youll settle back to mundane life again in Melbourne but I guess it will be fun telling your friends all about your adventures and the different places.
All is going well with Lise and Em and their babies. The big brothers are also accepting of their new siblings so far.
Love to you all, Liz and Geoff.
Wish We Were There! Hi Guys, Sounds like u r doing many wonderful things. Glad u r getting into the spirit of it all. School holidays and weather has been frezing! Went to Wicked Aqua with The Smiths today. Love reading the blogs and hope u realise that lots of people are following them. Well done guys! Love To All. Son, Cam, Brendo and Chantelle. x
Belgium report Sounds like it was great fun in Belgium and it always amazed me to know how old building were. We only had a one night stop in Belgium on our trip so don't know much about it. We have just been speaking to Gran before they leave to fly overseas. I think they'll be glad to be on their way. It's always stressful wondering if you've got everything you need!
We hope you all have a wonderful time and keep up the reporting - we're really enjoying hearing about your adventures.
Love Geoff and Liz
Hi Ed Hi Ed thanks for the comment.

We were in Volendam in June 1994 and loved it. Did a canal cruise were the commentary was in 4 laguages also have done cheese tasting.
Hi Travellers Glad to hear that you enjoyed yourselves on Harry's birthday. We did give you a thought on 13th Harrison. We were in Sydney last week and Geoff spoke to Kay so she gave us the info to get to the blog site etc. when we asked if she'd heard how you were going. The Forest Fun park looked awesome and I can imagine what fun you had there. I can remember being very impressed by the European ability to speak and understand English and how limited our knowledge of other languages was when we did our trip. We look forward to hearing more so keep up the good work. Love to you all. Geoff and Liz.
Hi from Melbourne Australia! Hi Tom!
We are thoroughly enjoying reading your blog! Can you take more pictures with you guys in them so we can see you all?
Also can you take some photos inside your house as we are fascinated to see what your kitchen, bedrooms and lounge room look like! And of Sam riding on the front of Al's bike! It sounds bizzare! We would also love to see a photo of your mum at work in the university? Do you think you could manage that?
We are all fine here and living our holidays vicariously thru you. . so get out and get amongst it! We have tried to find you on Google maps and we have located Anne Franks house but not sure what your street's name is so can only guess where you are. Maybe if you all run outside we will be able to see you on the satellite photo and then we will know exactly where you are!
Now for the most important questions. . .what does icecream taste like in Amsterdam? Even more importantly do they have lolly teeth like we have here? And twistees? And Milo? Just need to check so that if one day we head there we know they stock our staples!
We love your blog so keep up the good work Tom.
Hey, close call with the footy in the canal! You guys must have learnt to kick from that dodgy footy team of yours! Ha Ha!
Love to all, say hi to everyone and give your mum a big hug from me!
Take care and ENJOY!
The Dunning Crew
Amsterdam is great!!! Hi Ned.
No, I'm afraid to say that people here are very nice and they gave great directions (thank god) but there is quite a few canals. Well done on winning the State championships I've checked the site and you beat 18 people. Is it natinals next?
Have fun at school.
Tom
Hi Ed Hi Ed I hope that you enjoyed going to Surrey Hills again, I heard that you went in your school uniform (wish I was there). No that butcher is actually a butcher though it does sell sme strange things.
Thanks for the comment
Tom
Hi, guys! Hi guys! How's it been in the EU? Im SOOOOOO jealous! Is it as fun as they say it is? Are all the canals confusing? I read a book once (this statement is true!), and they were in Amsterdam, and they got directions from a guy who said: Go along the canal. Turn left at the canal. Continue until you see a canal. And it's on the canal. Sheesh! I wouldn't be asking for directions from a dutchman! Haha. See you in how long?
Ned

I'm Jealous 27C, how wonderful. I wish that it was 27 here. It is supposed to be getting warmer this weekend, but windy. I'd like it to be warm enough to go to the beach!
Yesterday was the first day in the new building. I will email you a couple of photos when I have downloaded them. It was all very exciting, even though we weren't there for very long because we had Wakakirri as well. Wakakirri went well and it was heaps of fun. I was really proud of how well everyone did. I am sure it would have been even better if you were there Tom!
Tomorrow is summer sport round robin. I will be at the basketball stadium hearing basketballs being bounced all day long!
Your trip sounds fantastic. The aquarium sounded interesting. Pity you couldn't understand what was being said. Perhaps by the time you leave, you will be able to understand some Dutch!
Looking forward to the next episode of your trip!
Sue

How is Harry and sam enjoying the experience of overseas travelling. Is the family keeping in good health , Thank Mun for father's good wishes.
The Zoo is Fantastic Hi Tom,
Loved the stories from Singapore. Reading about the zoo and the rain brings back memories of my trips. I have been caught in the rain at the zoo and when it rains in Singapore it really rains doesn't it! It is a long time since I have been to the bird park, but I do remember the shows. I think that when I went on the river cruise I must have had the same guide!!!
We finished packing the classroom yesterday and the removalists are busy at work this weekend moving all the things so that the teachers can spend Monday and Tuesday setting up the rooms. The kids are all looking forward to a couple of days off. When they return on Wednesday, there will be a short time spent in the new rooms before we head to Wakakirri.
I look forward to reading the next instalment of the Veitch Trip.
Have a great time,
Sue Strad
PS Surprised to see the other "Sue" who was commenting on your writing style. I know your writing style is fantastic!
Good job Tom! Another winning piece of documentary information. Glad to see you have the hang of writing expressively and with great descriptive words and personalised phrases. And yes you were wrong on one count. I was once a radio DJ for 3 years and yes I HAVE THE MOST ANNOYING VOICE-OVER VOICE IN THE WORLD! You are lucky this is written. If it was via phone, you'd hear it! Say hi to the family. Have you hit Amsterdam yet? And the big question is, is it cold? I have never been there and just think of snow and coldness. Enjoying your blog, Sue.
