Thank you!!!
I was looking for an example of Peruvian traditional dress and clicked on your blog. It was very helpful and fun to see your cool pictures. My daughter is studying Peru for missions month at her school. Her name is Amelia, she is 4. I am going to show her your pictures. We live in Tulsa, Oklahoma - Thanks for sharing your pics! well done you guys keep up the good work I am on your side a hundred percent , love all that you do I am a south african and now living in Guayaquil Ecuador , there is no animal control here , people dont know how to treat animals ans many are in the streets sick and looking for food and shelter its a so sad to see , I live in a house aqnd have five dogs already I cant put up anymore , I woul love it if somepone can make a S.P.C.A. here or some kind of animal shelter also to try and show people that animals have feeling and get hungry and all they need is a little love , people treat these animals bad like cock fighting and big chains put around a dog as a collar, also many cats and dogs are left in the street hurt or dying by being hit by a car or buss , not so long ago there was a baby horse left on the side of the road after being hit by a car and it died only three days after just left on the side of the road with everyone walking by and doing nothing please please help these animals , I dont know what to do or who to go for help thank you very much ,

Interesting...
Hey... Jake. i dont know u, i just searched "flag poi" in google images and u were there. i read the whole blog... and i reckon its pretty awesome. im a west aussie myself, from near the crab fest area. I like to spin, usually poi, not so much with the diablo, and i haven't tried staff. you don't look very old in that picture...was that the first time you'd used fire poi? anyway, to the point. i am looking to make a pair of flags, and the ones you are using in the picture look ideal for the job. what kind of material are they made of? i see the blog is from 2007... do you remember?

Stretched ears rock
"They think this looks attractive!". So do I. I think her ears look awesome, especially with the eyelets in. I am currently stretching my lobes out. I don't know if I would go as big as her though. I do like the dangly earrings under the eyelet. I may have to try that once my lobes get bigger.

Adopt me! haha
Well I randomly stumbled upon this page after searching women from Burma and I must say this looks like one of the most interesting family i've ever seen! I wish I knew how you were all able to travel the world...TWICE!! What an amazing experience that must be to share with your family. I am only 21 but I travel on my own because I too hope to travel the world. I just can't imagine what it would be like to do everything you guys did. I think it's wonderful your children will grow up with such knowledge of different cultures and countries!

Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Hi there! My name is Jodi and I LIVE in Tasmania... I am so glad you enjoyed your stay in Tasmania! I was Googling some images of Tassie Devils and read your travel-blog. I am so glad you got to meet our native terrors... erm that is the Wombat... in its native habitat! The Devil population is slowly but surely decreasing in the wild due mainly to the Devil Facial Tumor Disease (DFTD) and Devils being hit by cars while they are cleaning up the road kill. There are now several dedicated facilities for maintaining a stable population of disease free Devils. Just wanted to let you know that I find it Wonderful when I see good news from travelers who have been to see my Home State. Jodi
