So since Iguazu Falls and it has been all go go go. We went back to Buenos Aires which was great craic altogether this time round. Different hostel and different people. We left for Oz on 29th as we already had the flight booked stupidly believing Vi http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/New-South-Wales/Sydney/Darling-Harbour/blog-430318.html Final trip Iguazu Falls After leaving Salta we arrived 23 hours later in Iguazu Falls. Larger than Niagra and situated on the ArgentinaBrazil border. It was spectacular. As we woke late and didn't arrive at the falls until lunch time we were worried about getting around the whole thing so headed to the main attraction first the Devils Throat. We couldn't believe ours eyes Just so so much water Actually made you quit http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Argentina/Misiones/Puerto-Iguaz-/blog-424263.html Bolivia Speeding down Death Road a quick visit to auld Nick a trip back in time. It was the other county we I was nervous about visiting. We could write a book on the horror stories that we had heard...yet anyone we had spoke to loved the place and nothing bad had happened to them personally well apart from a lot of dodgy tummies and liquid loo visits. Bolivia turned out to be a interesting sometimes very frustrating amazingly beautiful country. Im glad we made it. We s http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Bolivia/La-Paz-Department/blog-419778.html Cusco The Inca Jungle Trek We arrived in Cusco 10 days ago from Lima. We treated ourselves to a cushy bus again and actually had a good nights sleep on it....thanks to some Xanex of course. Cusco was having a festival for Winter Solstice...to the Inca Sun God. As we have pretty much managed to miss very festival party or public celebration of any kind on this continent we were quite excited. Accommodation was hard to com http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Peru/Cusco/Machu-Picchu/blog-413863.html Doubling back Heres a little easy going chillaxing blog to fill in the bits since the Galapagos. The next one should be a big one again cos we are on our way to Cusco and the Inca Trail. So we flew back to Guayaguil in the south of Ecuadr after the Galapagos. Its a bigger city than Quito the capital. And once upon a time a pretty dangerous place I believe being a big port. But loads of money has been pumped in http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Peru/Piura/M-ncora/blog-409914.html Galapagos more photos More photos http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Ecuador/Galapagos/Floreana-Island/blog-405966.html Galapagos HolaRight well this was the one we were waiting for. It cost the most of any single trip we have ever taken we had been thinking about it for years and it didnt let us down. We arrived on Baltra Island on Saturday just gone. Good flight but hairy landing as its only a very small island the plane banks quite sharply and comes into land at the edge of the island just over the sea. And the runwa http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Ecuador/Galapagos/Espanola-Island/blog-405947.html 3 weeks in Colombia Hey guys A couple of weeks ago we made a decision that after meeting so many travellers going to and coming from Colombia and saying how great it was that we would give it a look. Like Chile we had no plans to go there on this trip. Colombia was never a place we ever thought we would be its a hell of a long way from Belturbet...maybe not so far from Tallaght though eh So we got some cheap fligh http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Colombia/Cartagena/blog-403649.html Welcome to the jungle weve got fun and games... snakes spiders lots of deadly things with teeth Hola nos amigos Hope all are well. We have been doing an awful lot of travelling sincw we last spoke. Making and breaking plans every few hours. I have read the lonely planet so many times I know it off by heart...really ask me anything. So in the end of all the deliberation we decided it would be a great idea to go as far as we can and then work our way back to our final destination i.e. Buenos http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Ecuador/North/Quito/blog-396579.html Rumble in the Jungle...well more desert.. HowayasHope all is well. Great to talk to those we spoke to on Marks Birthday. It was great seeing you all too. For those we didnt get to talk to we will try to call you soon. Anywhoo since we have been talking we have left the lovely Iquique after a lot of chillaxing and doing pretty much nothing for two weeks. It was hard to go. We met some really great people there and had a good laugh. We have been moving a lot and then not doing a lot at all. Ill bring yas up to date. As the title suggests after Pucon and all the activities we decided we would like to find a nice quiet hot beach to sit on for a few days or maybe a week. We heard about Pichilemu south of Santiago. As we told you last time we had convinced a local bar manager to let us have run of the bar. After spending 4 hours making decorations and a further 1 putting them up and a week of convincing people to stay on in Bariloche we ended up drinking across the road in an Irish owned Hostel with a load of Irish we had met during http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Argentina/Rio-Negro/San-Carlos-de-Bariloche/blog-384704.html Biking and barreling down a river in Bariloche You lucky things...its another double whamy for yas. As we may have mentioned we are now back in Argentina in Bariloche. We wanted to find a party town to relax in for a week and enjoy St Patricks day and we have definitely found it. This is a really nice place on a large lake to one side and Mountains to the other. It is a very flash ski resort in winter...with evidence of Argy decadance all ove http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Argentina/Rio-Negro/San-Carlos-de-Bariloche/blog-382272.html Smoking Volcanoes Dance offs Brightly Painted Churches Hey everyone.
