o.m.g. dear scott
way to go my dear. what a let your hair down blow out! do you work during the day? are you two in the rv? seems that you have friends all over the world...thank you for the up close view of mardi grassss...
yucky weather here, snow, sleet, slush...soon to be solid with temps dropping...
gave walley the boot this weekend, very sad, but he had to go go go and fetch marshmellows for his diabetic wife...shit that sounds aweful, but it is true in a symbolic sense.
work at school is really challenging still, but better now that i have room...we have 13 weeks left before summer and all of us are counting down.
glad grace is happier now that she is out of kc. forbes magazine has a list of the most miserable 20 cities in the states, and kc ranks number 13!
keep the blogs coming or e-mail sometime. breakfast club misses the likes of you two...
kate continues to struggle with her masters assignments..alan is doing well being retired and so kind, hilary is in france seeing her sister in law for probably the last time as she is terminally ill...hilary and tom are no longer dating, you probably knew that. pam's mom passed late last year and she is planning a trip to mexico to settle her mom's estate late march. some of us are dreaming of joining her...checking air fares and etc.
am going to check out the sidewalk situation and see if it is shovelable...
you are missed and i will always look forward to swimming with you again in some distant body of water!
cheers dear man

Grace is Back Grace was going to stay in Taiwan until late February to take care of her niece's new baby, but she came back early to be with me for Mardi Gras.
Purple Hair I love Grace's wig!! It looks great on her, hopefully she'll get a lot of mileage out of it when Eric and Carina get there. You should all make for a great looking group.....can't wait for the pics!!
Where's Grace? Ok. I'm getting worried. Where's Grace? One of the posts said she was joining you in New Orleans for Mardi Gras but I didn't see her in the photos.
She's not staying in Taiwan for good is she?!! Where she at?
Saints win Super Bowl Great pictures pictures Scott, thanks for posting. You forgot to mention how you were handing out tissues to the Vikings fans. I thought this was most considerate. Also great to see the Saints have gone on to win the Super Bowl. This has actually got news coverage in the UK. Also I enjoyed your more recent post on Eric's yoga walk in San Francisco. I really enjoyed doing this last summer with you in San Francisco and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for an 'alternative' sight seeing experience.
Keep it up!!! Geaux Saints Just found you by accident, I was looking for the photos of the graves with Saints' TShirts, go cups, helmets, etc. Seems like the City has gone even more crazy over the Super Bowl, which the Saints won!!!
I don't know you, Grace, or Liz. Katrina drove me to Texas (wah) and i have to watch and hear about New Orleans from a distance. But seeing your blog was wonderful.
Your blog is so freaking cool!!!!!! Bro',
I throughly enjoyed watching the pics and reading the comments. Great photos! I loved the structure of your blog.
Keep up the fun sm1l1ng d0g!!!!! (encrypted)

Homeless and Drunk There's a beer bottle right behind his head and another one in his bag by his feet. If you hadn't guessed, there's a lot of alcohol abuse in Nawlins. A sober person wouldn't/probably couldn't sleep in this pose on a concrete slab during the middle of the day either. I'l bet you money.
Who Dat! Great post! Your grammer is too good for the Who Dat chant, it's......... Who Dat say De Goina Beat Dem Saints. Always down here error on side of poor grammer ;-)
The Boy Has a Name My new, grand nephew in Taiwan has a name now. It's Sue Ann! That's the Chinese name and not a girl's name and it means book (Sue)of peace (Ann). Go figure. I don't think they've decided on an English name.
hello scott! glad to see your back. it sounds like you're enjoying new orleans. you look like a pimp with those big purple hats! perfect for mardi gras though. grace will be there soon, enjoy new orleans. all is good here. we have our own mardi gras here in town so we will be ready to party! i hope new orleans does make it to the super bowl, they deserve it. alisha would love the cemeteries there, since she's into all that spooky stuff. take care. kathy

Happy New Year Vickie,
We really enjoyed the kayaking from your beautiful neighborhood. You are in the thick of the beautiful area, so I hope you are enjoying it daily!
Cheers,
Scott
Kayaking Location This really puts in perspective what beauty we live right in the middle of. We forget about that and don't take advantage of it nearly enough. I see that heron from time to time when I'm walking the dogs down near the lake. It always makes the beginning of my day much brighter. It looks like you guys had a great time.
Thanks for the reminder! We can't wait to see you guys again!
love it! scott and grace, merry late christmas! your pics are great! grace your niece is too cute and her recital was a riot. it looks like you two are having a great time. the pics of all of us are a hoot! you guys enjoy yourselves and keep sending the blogs. we are all good here. we had a nice christmas, always fun having family. also celebrated alisha's birthday. the old bag! jim is writing some more music so maybe he will produce a winner.
take care. kathy
First 3 months Scott and Grace don't forget to come back..the cards said the next 6 months of the rv trip were going
to get really good, the rough part is over! Have a great holiday with your family in Taiwan.. Come
back so Todd and I can ride with you both before you go;) missing you both sooo much!
Re: blog entry Hey taco team, nice blog.........feels like I'm there amidst the delicious and bloody details.........enjoyed the socioeconomic stats too.........yes, you could organize a whole blog on crunching the numbers for people to help put our obscure world in perspective.
Keep your holiday spirits high............and your head low--scalp in your Kangol cap is not where you need to be putting your head these days. We need your thinkiing cap for saving our planet one meal and blog at a time.
Taco hugs.......crunch crunch crunch!!!
