Well it's a bit of a delay but I thought I better update from the last few days of our trip, even though we have been home for nearly a week already... So where did we leave off last, ahh yes Istanbul! Well wasn't that an interesting place to visit. Not quiet what we were expecting, mind you it was very last minute and we didn’t really do our research on the place so our own fault really. Not to say it wasn't an eye opener, just that we were expecting with the nice hot weather they have and us being located near the coast that it would be much like Greece, lots of sun bathing and beach time. **Note: Parents of the travel blog girls please be warned that the contents of this blog may be deemed offensive or possibly shocking to some of you** We made it in the end and that’s the main thing... after going to the wrong airport in UK (my bad) went to Stanstead instead of Gatwick 6am in the morning not happy! But we were lucky enough to be able to change flights and get out from there an hour later that originally booked. So all sweet! We arrived in Amsterdam, unfortunately weather wasn’t much better than London, but really in a place like that does it really matter what the weather is like? It's been a rather tame few weeks for me and Bel over in the UK, between working and trying to save we haven't really been out to see much. We are now down to our last 3 weeks of work before we plan on heading off around Europe, so it's meant to be SAVE SAVE SAVE as much as we possibly can so we can make the most of our final weeks over seas. Although that is proving to be a case of easier said than done... We went into Camden Town a few weekends ago which is by far one of my fav places to go in London, people weren't lying when they said it is a very alternative place to shop. Heya! See speaking like a true pom already... So here we are finally in the UK. Me and Bel just got back from seeing my family in Bradford for the last 4-5 days good getting up there to see them and even meet some of them for the first time! Nic is currently in Liverpool with her rellies and will be staying up there to work for the next 4-5 weeks to fund the rest of our adventures till we meet up again to travel Europe later in August-September. So were still in Canada eh absolutly loving it. Can completly understand why people stay here as long as they do, i don't want to leave myself! Well Whistler this is the case anyway, Vancouver not so much bit of a dirty hole if you ask me, kinda reminds me of a bad version of Northbridge , well actually just NB with a few more bums and junkies?
