OUr year here has been fabulous....no regrets http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Italy/Lazio/Rome/blog-413710.html We had Jennifer and Kyle come visit and then Unkie Dave from MAine and Uncle MArco from Miami Needless to say...LOT OF FUN http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Italy/Lazio/Rome/blog-399197.html Friends CHad and Cristina celebrated their wedding in a weekend full of fun We got away from the kids than you nonna and nonno and enjoyed the wonderful city of BArcelona and areas around http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Catalonia/Barcelona/blog-395782.html We decided to head south for Easter. Sicily seemed the perfect place warmer way older and friendly sicilians We rented a car and drove wherever we wanted....when we got tired we found a hotel. The children really enjoyed the trip...we all loved loved loved Siracusa http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Italy/Sicily/Siracusa/blog-395700.html Clay and Nonna jet setted to HOlland for a few days of museums exhibits herring and time together http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Netherlands/North-Holland/Amsterdam/blog-394070.html We went for 5 days skiing. THe weather and conditions could NOT have been more perfect Odin Clay and LIly all enjoyed learning a new sport Sooo much fun http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Italy/Abruzzo/blog-375402.html WE've been here 6 months and time is flying abit too fast The kids get their first report cards next weekintersting to see what those are like Clay turned 10 this month and Matt 41. We went to Viterbo for some hot baths as well. Christmas eve out Christmas at home Santo Stefano the day after Christmas out and then off on a short trip for New Years No complaints. Life has gotten busy The children have had two weeks of school and are adjusting very well. I continue working and enjoy it as well Odin and Lily turned 6 although their actual birthday party will be in October we had a small celebration here on the actual day of their birthday. MAtt the kids and their grandmother spent 9 days the seaside and explored. I on the other hand had to return to Rome and start work at my new school.
