On Friday, June 6 at 10:30AM, Liz and I left for Boston in her new Prius. We made the trip in 5 hours, including one pit stop to stretch and one stop to eat at Pizzeria Uno. Our stay at the South Boston Hampton Inn started off on a positive note, and just kept getting better! Liz and I flew into Ft. Myers on Tuesday evening, April 8. My Mom and godfather Ralph picked us up at the airport and drove us to Naples where they were staying. We enjoyed some burgers that Ralph cooked up on the grill and we all enjoyed catching up with each other. Then April 9 was a day I will never forget: Liz and I woke up at 4:30AM, made some last minute preparations for our trip (made plain turkey sandwiches for the road), and left Naples at 5:16AM.
