I decided to travel to the World Cup finals in Germany. I thought I would cycle it to see some of Europe and to cut down the cost. I took the ferry from Portsmouth to Cherbourg and travelled down through France until the meditterean coast, which I followed into Italy and continued down to Rome. From Rome I turned around and cycled North into Slovenia, Austria, the Czech Republic and then into Germany.
These cycle trips are an adventure in themselves and an escape from the modern world but at the same time I get to see some really cool things.
