Next day noon, a little tired. We pick up Flo and then a manual shift car. We leave the airport and drive down the straight shot street towards home. They don't call Bairro Alto the "high" land for nothing. Friday night we went out for the night. We were walking down the labarynthian paths looking for a restaurant when we see a shifty guy who whispers: "Hashish? Coka?" It was a dark stormy night.....well not really, but it was night. We got into the airport taxi and showed him the address to the apartment we rented here in Lisbon. When we got near to our address, it was dark. We asked the driver: "is this a safe neighborhood?" He answered: "No." Geri looked at me like What the F did you do?!?! We have arrived in London and have a few hours before our flight to Lisbon, so we've come to London proper for a few hours. In the time that we've been here, Geri has been identified as French, met an international enigmatic legion called the "Cockfosters", and has offended the British several times. It is all I can do to keep her from being bopped by the bobbies. Other than Geri's outlandish behavior, we are alive, well and in good spirits.
