Right now it is cold outside though so I have some time to pass in the warm internet cafe. Lets see...Well I am in Argentina right now but after Bolivia I passed through Chile. When Talia was living in New Orleans she met 2 guys there C http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Argentina/Rio-Negro/San-Carlos-de-Bariloche/blog-147214.html A streak of bad luck On my last day in Chile in the city of Puerto Montt I had a very unfortunate turn of events which gets to why I now no longer haves pictures on my blog. Yes I got robbed for the first time in the 6 months I have been traveling. I think its actually a pretty funny story so I thought I would share it with you all on my blog...Talia and I went to Puerto Montt to look into catching a ferry boat http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Argentina/Rio-Negro/San-Carlos-de-Bariloche/blog-147262.html Titi is for Peru Caca is for Bolivia Haha I had to write that as the title because when we told Tia Julia we were going to Lake Titicaca that is what she told us in response and I thought it was great. Ever since I learned about Lake Titicaca in spanish class in 7th grade I was very intrigued by it I dont know if my level of maturity has changed that much because I still love the name. I actually learned where the name came fro http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Bolivia/La-Paz-Department/Copacabana/blog-141795.html Hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu Talia and I just got back from Machu Picchu and we had the most amazing time The expedition was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. Right now the computer I am using is horrible and I am having a lot of trouble typing so I will try and write later but for now at least I have pictures up. http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Peru/Cusco/Machu-Picchu/blog-140013.html Around Cusco Here are some recent photos from our adventures in and around Cusco. Enjoy http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Peru/Cusco/Cusco/blog-138350.html Tia Julia HolaSo far everything is going great in Peru. I am surprised at how easy and comfortable it is to travel here compared with a lot of places I went in Central America so that is making my tansition back into travel mode a smooth one.Now I have to get back into the flow of writing blogs again which is a lot more challenging sometimes than you would expect. As I am sure I said many times before http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Peru/Ica/Nazca/blog-137127.html Pura Vida Here are some long awaited pictures from when I met up with my family in Costa Rica. We had a great time livin the pura vida http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Costa-Rica/blog-134126.html The end of a great year Hola a todosI hope everyone had a great new year. I had a wonderful time in Nicaragua over the holidays I met two sisters Kathryn and Monica who are around my age and from Canada and we pretty much traveled together from Christmas to New Years. It made my holidays so much better to be in their great company oh and Kathryn and Monica if you read this you should send me your email again b http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Costa-Rica/San-Jose/blog-115896.html Feliz Navidad Greetings and love to allI realized that I was wearing myself down a bit from moving around so much so I decided to take it easy in Granada and it has done me right. I have gotten some good rest and relaxation and now I feel more myself again and I am ready to keep going. I spent my days here strolling around town and stopping to have talks with some locals along the way. I stroll and chat and http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Nicaragua/Granada/blog-113129.html Hitching my way through Nicaragua So far I have found the people of Nicaragua to be extremely friendly and helpful. Everywhere I go they are helping me out and giving me rides. Whenever I find myself questioning my mode of transportation a ride comes along. When I first got to the Nicaraguan border after a long morning of travel starting at 5 am many connections in pickup trucks along the way 2 border crossings I found m http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Nicaragua/Granada/blog-112685.html A couple nights in El Salvador It was a really long ride getting to El Salvador from Gracias and I think one of my favorites. I caught the first bus leaving Gracias at 5 in the morning and I spent all day riding along bumpy dirt roads through the countryside. It was spectacular as the sun was rising and the rays were shining through the trees and highlighting the tops of the mountains. My van was really slow and we chugged http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/El-Salvador/Frontera-Honduras/blog-111646.html Gracias a Dios I put up the pictures from my stay here first and now for some reason Im not in the mood to write much. So Ill see what I can do... I think the fotos tell more anyway.I had a great 3 nights in Gracias. Its a charming little town up in the mountains and life there is very simple. Most people are living off the land and there is not much else for work so this region was also very poor. I had http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Honduras/Gracias/blog-111174.html Copan Ruinas After Utila I spent a few days in Copan. I met two other girls at the bus station who were going there as well so we all traveled together and then one of the girls met up with her boyfriend. I stayed with Renate from Sweden and we cooked together and hung out and she was good company for a few days. I realized it was the first time I had traveled with a girl not that it really matters but http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Honduras/Copan/blog-111181.html My travels continue... Hey everyone I have not used the internet much recently because right now I'm in Belize and it's really expensive so I have been avoiding the computer but I decided I needed to try and catch up a little since my last blog left me in limbo. I started this blog awhile ago and just finished it so the timing is funnyFirst off I went to check out volunteering in Guatemala and all of the places re http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Guatemala/Coban/Semuc-Champey/blog-107041.html Fotos from Lorenzo Here are some more great fotos from Lorenzo and I's adventure thanks to Lorenzo... muchas gracias mi amigoBy the way I realize the captions are lame but I was running out of energy because I put up so many pictures. http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Guatemala/Coban/Semuc-Champey/blog-109162.html A whirlwind tour of Belize I rode my last chicken bus through Guatemala and it was a long and crazy one. Tons of people mostly little kids were trying to sell things and in front of me on the bus was a woman with a chicken in a woven basket and another woman with a basket of sandwiches on her head. Next to me was an old man who kept asking me to take him to the US with me and he was giving me funny looks and then ther http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Belize/blog-108884.html Time has a way of dissappearing on the islands Hey everyone I have not written for awhile and Im sorry and Im afraid I dont have time to update my blog now but I wanted to just write a little something to let you know Im still alive and kicking. I dont think the island has internet or atl http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Honduras/Bay-Islands/Utila/blog-107443.html Me and Colins final adventures Colin and I spent the last week in Antigua which is a very nice old city with cobblestone streets and ruins on about every corner. The one drawback is that there are a lot of tourists here and prices on food and lodging are a bit higher. The highlights though of our time here were in the last two days pictures are on their way a little later...On Friday afternoon we hiked up Volcan Pacaya wh http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Guatemala/Antigua/blog-104425.html Pictures from Guatemala Hey everyone So I realize I have not shared much from my time spent in Guatemala and Im sorry but it is hard to keep up with the blog when there is so much else going on. For this blog I just put up some pictures I liked because I think they speak more than my words anyway and now I will just write a little about them.I just experienced one of the most beautiful sunsets ever over the Lago http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Guatemala/Lago-de-Atitlan/blog-102223.html
