Yes, yes. Good feeling. I awoke just before 4 in the morning to reach the summit of Kala Patthar. At 18,400 feet, I could not feel my toes, and my fingers were not exactly warm in mittens. There were millions of stars out. The mountains were hiding in the darkness. Around 5:30, still 30 minutes from the summit, the sun began to rise. The sky turned red, orange and yellow behind Mt. Famished, I found 2 eyelashes in my lentil soup. 'Are they mine,' I ask myself. I discover they weren't eyelashes. They were tenticles attached to a small cockroach.
