Sorry it's been a while since the last update, but I am actually working, in addition to having fun. Duvrovnik is expensive!!!!!!! The Bars have prices that rival NYC.....:( but that is probably good because I haven't been spending much time in them. This Saturday I am going to Montenegro, in 2 weekends I will be going to Sarajevo, and the end of May I will be going to Vienna and Prague just before I head back to Rochester. Ok enjoy the pictures. Howdy Y'all, So I'm in Croatia, teaching at the American College of Management and Technology, in Dubrovnik. I've been here since the 14th of March, I am still in the process of settling in and finding a home for everthing in my apt. The location of my apt, is perfect I am a 15-20 min walk from School, old town is only another few minutes from there. I have 2 grocery stores less than 5 minutes Ston and Moli Ston, they produce the "best" oysters in the world, according to all of the locals. They were pretty darn goodand really don't care for raw oysters. Also it is the home to the 2nd longest wall in the world. Ok enough talking here are the pix. Ted... read more

Grettings from Tuscany - Florence was excellent although my very first impressions of Florence were not very nice. The very first thing I saw was vagrant peeing on the sidewalk right out side the train station. Roughly five minutes after that I realized that one of my bunk mates on the train ripped off roughly 200 euro from me. So as I'm trying to get my head straight, I'm looking for a map of the city, in the "birth place" of art everything has graffiti on it. And not even decent looking stuff, just black scribbles that any 5 year old could do. Howdy everyone, I hope y'all had a wonderful holiday season. I am back in Kosovo, but I am listing the place I've been. The first stop on my journey was the Ljubljana airport, then Munich. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!! I made it to Munich, NO pictures to prove it because, I left my patch cable in Pristina, so all pix will be posted after Jan 6th.......but trust me I'm in Munich...._I actually went to church last night in a huge, old church. The food here is great, I had the best salmon I#ve ever had and it was handed to me on paper, it was smoked in an old wooded beer fermenting barrel. I actually had a filafel for brunch today, first meal where the food was more than the beer!!!! I#m trying to decide where to go for dinner....oh well, I#m sure it#ll be good!!!!!!!! For the record, I am typing on a keyboard set-up for german, so any typos are because of that, not because I've already started drinking beer. ... read more

Greetings from the Balkans....I have a few pictures and not much else.....one week from right now I should be landing in Ljubjana, Slovenia, enroute to Munich...mmmmmm beer and sausage!!!!!! I'll post something before then but probably not much. I am adjusting to the way of life here well. I going to attempt to watch American Football this evening. Kick off isn't for another 3 hours or so. My list of restaurants to try is growing and I hope to hit a few this week. I am putting pictures of food up. These were all taken at one of the best restaurants in Prishtina. It is the place people go to be seen. It was awesome!!!!!! And the food I am told is as traditional as I'll get in the city.... read more
