| 10th August 2009 Abdullah | Croatia the Charmful - From: Land of Beaches, Mountains and Tourists…Nope, It’s Not California Really I did not believe that Croatia is so much beautiful as these photos do show. I know that Europe in general is beautiful but this presents fantastic nature. I would like to know more about this country for tourism and people. |

| 15th July 2009 Grace | love your pics - From: A Bittersweet Trip To The Land of The Leprechaun I do love your pictures, they are amazing. Maybe it´s because the landscape in Ireland helps good photographers. |
| 26th March 2009 swissmaple | Sirop d'érable! - From: If Underwear Were Food, Then Long Underwear Would Be Manna From Heaven I have to laugh at your Cabane à Sucre experience...I think I know which cabane he sent you to. Not the one I would've recommended because, yeah, well, cafeteria food. And I have to clarify that it is Quebecois, not Canadian, because I have yet to meet a westerner (from Alberta, BC, etc) who puts syrup on their eggs or in their pea soup. :) Glad you had fun in Québec! |
| 23rd February 2009 Jabe | Honest criticism - From: Sure, It Might Be A Journey But Its Really A Party Go a bit easier on the Photoshop mate; you seem to be wringing those pictures out a bit too far! |
| 30th January 2009 Graciela | Great pics - From: Diversity Can Be Amazing And It Can Be Challenging Your photos are some of the best I have ever seen. Congratulations. Love, from Argentina. |
| 2nd January 2009 Shoop | Hook Turn!! - From: Ocean and City: The Trip to Melbourne Love your comment about the "WILD" right turns in downtown Melbourne! My mum's family is mainly from the Melbourne area, so I've done my fair share of driving and performed a number of "hook turns", as they're referred to, in Melbourne. |
| 2nd January 2009 Shoop | Well Done, Indeed! - From: Taking a Leap in Queenstown Again, apologies for my belated comments....Alas, well done on the jump. Although I jumped in town, we did have the opportunity to visit the Kuwara site.....watched a few jumpers there and then took one of those INSANE jet boat rides. They literally drive you within feet (possibly inches - I think I got a haircut from one particular boulder) of the cliffs. As with the bungy jump, glad I did it, but never again! |
| 2nd January 2009 Shoop | Luging in Q'town!!! - From: Exquisite Autumn Colors As We Fly Down The Mountain Ok, so I didn't take the time to read much of your travel blog during your trip. That being said, I'm making up for it tonight. Love the pic of luging!! That was a blast for me back in '02. Don't know if it's still there, but I bungy jumped from the observation deck/restaurant area at the top. |
| 23rd December 2008 Chriscross | - From: The Heart of The Holy Land I have just recently been to Jordan and I have relived my trip through reading your exploits. Hope to travel further afield and seek new sights!. Love your writing. |
| 22nd September 2008 Kathy | Sigh... - From: Crime, Crabs and Karma in Harbor Town Hi Team Turner! I've just spent the past month reading your round-the-world-trip blog from start to finish, and I have to say that I'm so sad that it's over! You guys are great photographers as well as writers...I feel like I know you both (in a non-creepy, non-stalkerish way, that is!). I have a crazy passion for travel as well...and I'm getting ready to leave on a 10 day trip to Germany in a couple of weeks. However, 10 days seems like a flash in the pan compared to what you have done. I have to admit I'm just a bit envious!! Please keep documenting your trips so that I can live vicariously through you guys! Happy Travels! Kathy in GA |

| 11th April 2008 Shane | Incredible! - From: The Pictures Speak For Themselves Hi Guys, I have a lot of friends travelling and keep updated with their Travels on this site, and every so often a story or photo will grab my attention as yours did...I live in South Africa and just wanted to say you took some spectacular shots of our wildlife, the pictures are INCREDIBLE... I myself have spent more than a few days in the bush and not seen so much activity or as many animals, and friends' trips definately do not yield as many spectacular pics...I was just hoping to give you & your friends a sense of how fortunate you were, and I'm glad you had such an amazing experience here in light of your hesitancy to come in the first place. And thanks for sharing these pics. |
| 8th April 2008 Emily | someone should pay you - From: If Underwear Were Food, Then Long Underwear Would Be Manna From Heaven I know that probably other people have said this before, but some travel company should really hire you two to travel the world on their dime and report back to the rest of us on it. You two have such refreshing insight and delightful commentary on the globe-trotting experience. I wish I had found your blog while you guys were still travelling. Any plans for a great North American road trip? |

| 19th February 2008 Steve | Enjoyed the reminder of the salt mine - From: Salt Mines in Berchtesgaden I went to the salt mines 20 years ago as a young soldier stationed in Germany. It was fairly cheesy then too, but we also had to wear a supposidly traditional miners hat too. It looked like a black Fez, but without the tassle. It made the photos taken there that much more cheesy. I wonder when they stopped with the hats... maybe after a bad bout of head lice :-) Headed back to Germany this fall, will have to visit the salt mines and Salzburg again. Thanks for stirring up some fun old memories and heres to creating some new ones. |
| 14th February 2008 Amanda Dave | Nice Photos! - From: Diversity Can Be Amazing And It Can Be Challenging your photos are awesome. we are getting ready to go on safari and now i can't wait! |
| 15th January 2008 Alan and Donna | Loved hearing about my old stomping ground - From: Borat’s Rodeo, Appomattox Courthouse and Foamhenge: An Odyssey Through Western Virginia Your Roanoke blog was great reading with my morning coffee and a fun reminder of the 16 years that I lived there. Next time, take a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway, either south of Roanoke to Chateau Morrisette Winery or north to the Peaks of Otter for a hike and a meal. I'll be in Roanoke the first week of February to visit my three-month old granddaughter. Can't wait! |
| 15th January 2008 garron | foamhenge? - From: Borat’s Rodeo, Appomattox Courthouse and Foamhenge: An Odyssey Through Western Virginia i thought i knew virginia pretty well, and have been to roanoke and salem many times...but foamhenge?!?!?!? |
| 2nd January 2008 Dan | Kruger National Park - From: Diversity Can Be Amazing And It Can Be Challenging We will be visiting the park in early March and we are wondering if you saw a lodge there that was comfortable and nice within the park itself. The Park sounds great and we would also like some really great food (Italian?) and a jacuzzi within the lodge/resort. Any ideas? | 18th December 2007 Gunga | History at home - From: It Seems That Some Stereotypes Do Contain Truth I grew up in Boston and Plymouth ( by the way it is the forefather's monument not the 4 fathers). I had never visited Bunker Hill, the Constitution or most of the other historical places that Boston is famous for until , as an adult, I hosted some foreign students from Japan. Thanks for highlighting the beautiful places in our own backyard.Carolyn ( blogger name 'gunga') |
| 17th December 2007 Kathy Martell | Massachusetts Visit - From: It Seems That Some Stereotypes Do Contain Truth Enjoyed reading your blog about Cape Cod and Plymouth. I was just there in August and had a fantastic time. The history around Plymouth was astounding. I loved the Statue of the 4 Fathers. Did you see it up on the hill in Plymouth. I too walked on the boardwalk in Sandwich. I was surprised as to what people in Massachusetts considered a boardwalk. Ours in Seaside, Oregon is between the beach and the town with lots of shops or hotels on it. Both versions are very unique. Happy traveling and Merry Christmas! Kathy |
