Arcadia Regency - From: 13 Janaury 2008 - Varaka & Alleppey
Thank you very much for your recommendation of the Arcadia Regency. We totally agree that it is the best value hotel in India. We are spending our last three nights of six weeks in India there and are doing nothing and absolutley enjoying it.

Thanks for the really informative information on Laos and Cambodia. So many people write where they have been and where they have stayed without giving specific information. Your tips are greatly appreciated as I leave Sydney on 5th April and am heading for Laos. Enjoy the rest of your travels!

Newtons Manor - From: 16 December : Jodphur
We stayed in Newtons Manor at the recommendation of our driver and found it just fine for the price. I was wary of the electrical wires about the room and the outlets, but found in subsequent trips to India, this is pretty normal for such places.

Mandawa haveli - From: 9 December : Mandawa & Bikaneer
I love your descriptions of Mandawa. We stayed in the same hotel and the food was the worst in four trips to India. We'd been warned about buffets and this one was inedible except for the desserts. We are still nearly stamping our feet when laughing about the "entertainment". Breakfast was horrid, too. How can anyone spoil breakfast? They managed. We got up early in the morning and watched the town wake up. Interesting!

Carl at the disco photo, absolutely brilliant makes me want to jump on a plane right now....not. Discos are the same where ever you go eh, the look of enthusiasm is breath taking. Love the photos, any castles over there by chance? Cock-a-doodle-doo!

Love your sunset photos at Phu Quoc - From: 25 November - Phu Qouc
Love your sunset photos from your bangalow long Long Beach in Phu Quoc. Thanks for your concern over rubbish in Phu Quoc. We locals will try our best for this issue which is bad in Viet Nam and seems worse in Phu Quoc. Please come back. Sapa is my favourite place and hard to know any ice-creams could beat Fanny ice-cream. Good luck with your travels. THT
