we were planning to go to Versallies but ended up in Vincennes so instead we went back to the city and waited in line for 1 and a half hours to go up the notre dame. was worth it the view and gargoyles were fantastic. had lunch and walked down le seine we went and saw the pantheon and took a pic of victor hugos tomb. That night we went to a cruise on the seine and saw the eiffle tower sparkle was truely amazing then we were off to moulin rouge great show and free french champ!... read more

Got up at 3.30 to fly to france. France from the air looks like a patchwork quilt of green and brown. we got to the hostel and had to change clothes very hot! we got into concorde and had a look around then got on a sight seeing bus. was realy nice to get away from the english culture. we saw all the stuff eiffle tower, notre dame etc etc. we went out that night up to the sacre coeur since we were staying in montemart. it started to rain the pelted down with very large hail stones that gave m welts, the rain was very heavy but great fun. came home so went it was like i had had a shower fully clothed.... read more

Went from Cork to Dublin and slept in a hotel close to the airport. was really nice to sleep in a hotel and just relax had a bath, went to the bar down stairs etc nice place.... read more

went to Killarney to get a tour bus for the dingle penincula was ok saw lovely views and landscapes of ireland but being on a bus for so long got boring and so did the driver!... read more

Got into Cork this morning was a 3 hours train trip south of Dublin. we couldnt go to our dorm till £ so we had some lunch and went on the internet for a bit. when we were all settled we went shopping got a few things. For dinner we had with irish bread with ham and cheese..the bread tastes like teacake. after that we watched a movie.... read more

Went on the tour today was really fantastic. We went to some old cave that is 5000 years old. a few ruins and 2 hills, one being the hill of tara. could tell you more about it but cant be stuffed. off to southern irelnd tomorrow.... read more

Just walked around today and booked a tour for tomorrow. its celtic tour in the countryside looking at old historical stuff and the hill of tara. We walked up the main shopping parts and saw lots of buskers. took pictures of trinity college, dublin castle and a medival wall. Had a healthy lunch in st stevens green park while listening to a chior/band in th bandstand. Went our that night with some of our hostel roommates. 2 canadians Sandra and Inik aswell and inik's scottish cousin. We started off at Temple Bar had 2 guinesses a smirnoff red, cheese platter and a ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Went to find a local pub with less tourists and got told to go to O'Donaghues. not much there but got a drink. Ended up at a nice typically ... read more

went to madame tussauds. It was ok not as exciting as i thought it would be. Went to the beatles store around the corner. As we were leaving madame tussauds we booked some theatre tickets. we tried to get the days matinee of les mis but they only had full priced tickets so we went to wicked instead which was really good. Anyway this was the last day in london. We'll be back for 2 days on the 31st.... read more

Big day today. Spent a lot of time going to and from places on transport. We made our way to Windsor Castle and as we were approaching we were welcomed by the royal band playing up the street. Windor is quite a huge place and is still in use by the queen, we took our time looking through the grounds and castle.
