Arriving in Cairns airport, I decided to head to the information board to source some accomodation. I was, of course looking for the cheapest, and found a central hostel for $15 per night (around 6 pounds). On contacting the hostel I folund out that this was only the cost per night if you were staying for longer than a week......at this point it sounded fair too [View Full Entry]

G'Day Mate! Oceania » Australia » Northern Territory » Darwin
Well I've now arrived in Darwin, after traveling for an uncertain amount of hours due to the fact that I've had to change my watch twice to correspond with the changing time zones. On arrival at the 2nd village half of our group decided to run straight for the river, I decided to hold back and see everyone’s reactions when they got in!! As you can imagine I [View Full Entry]

The Beginning! Asia » Thailand » Central Thailand » Bangkok
Hi!! We've finally found some time to drag ourseleves away from the bars and go in search of a internet cafe to update you all on our experiences over the last week. We landed in Bangkok last Wednesday at around 8pm, after 20 hours of travelling! Although we did expect a change in temperature the immense heat still hit us when we walked out of the airport! On arrival at our hotel we were met by Chi, who has been our tour leader for the last week, he gave us details of the week ahead and gave us the fantastic news [View Full Entry]
