Talented lil bugger aren't you - From: Jodhpur pants and Udaipur
Hey, I remember loving Udaipur when I was there with mum and Ben. That pic of rach on the cushions looks so much like the hotel we stayed at, although I'm sure there's probable lots of similar looking hotels. And I personally think your elephant looks pretty damn good, I might have even paid money for it :-) Hope you're having a great time. love fi

Perry=Pear Cider - From: The 'nam and Bibury, stardate 26.07.08
Took me a while to figure this out too but I can enlighten you now: most ciders are made from apples, but perry is made from pears and is a little sweeter (read: a little girlier and more to my liking!)

Loving reading about your adventures. Perhaps reading this particular story over my morning coffee wasn't such a great idea, but enjoyed it all the same. Love fi

Bridge and Tigers - From: Bangkok, the River Kwai & the Tiger Temple
Eeeeeeeeee!! How beautiful are the tigers, I can't wait to go back there. I'm so happy you guys got to go, I was in tears for most of the trip there. :) And I absolutely sh*t myself on the Bridge - no one else believed me when I tried to explain that there is nothing to stop you falling off the bridge in those gaps. I'm so glad I have another witness to back me up! :) I'm glad you guys finally got overseas, and arrived safely in London. Take care, hope to see you again soon. Remember, Ben Barnes: hunt him down. Heh heh. :) Love, Geri XO

I want one! - From: Bangkok, the River Kwai & the Tiger Temple
How cute are the tiger cubs! I want one. Not so sure about the big ones, very gorgeous but a little scary (I'd kind of want them to be drugged for me to go near them!) Did they say if they smelt fear? Glad you got to enjoy a little holiday. V

question about tips and bargaining - From: Cairo - Saqqara and Memphis
enjoyed your journal very much. I work at Disneyland and FOR YEARS Ive been planning to some day make it to Egypt. I'll be on a Nile cruise in Nov. Just exactly does one survive the culture shock of the tipping? And were you intimidated by the bargaining while shopping? :) Noreen moochacha2003@yahoo.com

Oh My God! - From: Cairo - Saqqara and Memphis
Hey guys, Wow, you tell such a good story and the photos are breathtaking. It sounds like you're having so much fun, I wish I could be there with you! Hopefully within the next 12 to 18 months I will be able to get back over to Europe and finish the trip that I started in 2000. I put my discharge in again (despite being on operation in Timor at the moment) so hopefully I will have better luck this time and maybe I'll be back in Canberra before you know it! Keep having a blast. When are you due home? Love lots, Kimmie xoxox

Hi Tan & James, Thanks so much for the lovely little updates that I keep receiving. It's almost like I'm right there with you (and I wish I was). I can't wait to see all the pics. Take care and I look forward to the next one, there's not much happening here in Dili, so it's nice to have a taste of reality. Anyway, love you lots and talk to you soon. Kimmie xoxox
