Tenielle and Jen
Tenielle is a 26 year old physical therapist currently living in Edmonton, AB, although she has really started to wonder why anyone would possibly want to live on a glacier. She has travelled through all of central and south america, and is looking forward to travelling to any continent that does not have the word america in it. Tenielle is going to have a hard time parting with her electronics, most recently guitar hero has topped the charts. Tenielle has a serious crush on anything to do with calculator watches, mullets, tight jeans, bad moustaches. She has most recently dislocated a bone in her foot on a hard game of dance dance revolution.THAISECRETS
Jen is a 22 year old teachers assistant currently working with grade 6 in Leduc. Jen lives with Tenielle, and two of them have been pretty much inseperatable for the past year. Jen is looking forward to her first backpacking trip, and Tenielle is wondering where the hell she is going to store all her shoes and purses. Jen will also have a hard time parting with her cell phone, as she sends close to 100 texts a day. Jen has a serious crush on .....well, we'll leave that for another time. Jen says she likes sushi, but she really only likes the rice..haha. Jen is not currently injured in any way, so Tenielle is going to make her carry the jewelry in her pack.

so , we are still in koh tao, but leaving tomorrow for krabi. we have had alot of fun on this island. lisa is bound and determined to get a thai massage every day for 30 days, while i have been busy doing 8 dives in 2 and a half days. the girls got up and came to the sunrise dive with me this morning at 5 cause there was a chance to see a whale shark, but mostly it rained and tara got sick on the boat. I had a great dive, and got certified to deep diving to 30 m, its kinda fun down that deep, you get "NOS"ed and it feels like you are drunk cause of the nitrous oxide, but it goes away as you come back up. so, we met up with lisa and tara on bottle beach. we stayed there for a few days, it was really nice and quite and you started to feel like a family there after a few days, everyone knew each other and we had fun joking with all the locals. Last night they had a "big" BBQ, bonfire and "free" games, which is funny, cause nothing in Thailand is free. Jen won the game musical chairs and her prize was a mickey of thai whiskey and a bag of chips!! We took the ferry to Kho Tao today, and signed up for some diving in the am. we finally met up with kelsey after i stalked her for a couple hours looking for her resort. we all rented some motos and drove around the island all day, we went to check out the waterfalls which were all dried up, but we hiked up some awesome treks to check out a few amazing view points. we went to a mui thai boxing match last night, it was pretty cool, other than that, we are pretty much shopping and working on our tans, we are meeting up with lisa and tara tomorrow... read more

those damn buckets Asia » Thailand » Ko Pha Ngan By THAISECRETS March 31st 2007 Tenielle and Jen well, we have spent our first 2 days in Ko Pha Ngan, and its been a blast. The first day we got our taste of those damn buckets, and man, i guess the motto here is " fuck it, have another bucket" there is a guy with a tatoo sleeve that actually says that. For those of you who dont know, a bucket is a mickey of thai whiskey and red bull, and man, they sure do getcha!! We spent yesterday at Haat Rin beach all day, and we got a bit burned so far. Hey everyone, we are still enroute to bangkok, we are currently in Seoul at an internet cafe waiting for the next plane. Our feet are so swollen it looks like we are nine months pregnant. We had a great flight from Seattle, and met a few people from Calgary already. We spent the morning downtown Seattle in the fish market, and got some good site seeing on the public bus, Jolene you would have loved it.
