Hi Jane I know that there is a massive gap in my travelblog and where I am at the moment. I am still in Oz at the moment and will be in NZ for Xmas and New Year. I won't be repeating the snake thing in the near future - it's just something that I can tick off some imaginary list! It's great to hear from you. I hope you are okay! Tx

Hi Teresa Happy to hear from you - and see you so happy in the Mekong Delta - even if with a snake wrapped round your neck - you really look as though you are revelling in it! As you say - you seem to be into experimenting! Take care Love Di

OZ.... - From: Mekong Delta
Hi Honey Quite a mental leap for me - Vietnam to Australia in one sentence. Did you go to NZ? Are you still planning to do Galapagos and Easter Island? You don't look as though you are really enjoying the snake - but very brave of you for trying. Keep up the good work. J. xxx

As soon as I saw the name of unmentionables I knew I would not be able to look at your photos, you should have headed the blog 'don't look Aly'! I've come over all funny even thinking about it

hello good to hear and I'm unsure of what's happened since I last heard! There seems to be a chapter missing.. It's good to hear your comments, and that you've got so adept at negotiating your way round - and I love the look for the post office! What's next, I wonder? dixx

hi - From: Saigon aka Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC)
was getting a bit worried we hadn't heard from you. It is sad that people are always on the make and seem to think you have loads of money! I can understand your not liking the cities. The dates on your blogs are still a long way behind which I don't understand!! We are in November and you are still in August. All is ticking over here, had a weekend in France and bought the staircase, will collect it later this month! Still miss you hon, keep safe hugs Aly

Hi Jane Majorca - fab! It doesn't matter where you go if it had the desired effect and at least you will have had good weather for a week. I wish I could get my blog up to date but that seems highly unlikely. I am in Australia now so the Internet (and everything else for that matter) is really expensive compared to Asia. Keep in touch, Txxx

ABOUT TIME.... - From: Sihanoukville - a beach, at last!!!
Hi Hon. Just got back from a week in Majorca (bit tame compared to your locations) at a hotel filled with Spanish OAPs. Its about time you had some fun specially after what you saw in your previous blog! It must have been good to let your hair down for a bit. See from the comments you are in Malaysia now, can't wait for your blogs to catch up. Take care. J. xxx

I know! The people in Malaysia are incredible. I have made the decision to take a year (at least!) out and start travelling as well. I'm planning on heading straight back to Malaysia next June and then taking it from there. I'll be in touch to get some recommendations before the time! Keep up the movin and a shakin! Hugs. Ray.

It really was time to move on. I have had some fab experiences since then that i wouldn't have had if I had stayed in the one place. I only managed to get to KL and Malacca in Malaysia because of limited time. I would definitely go back to Malaysia because the people were soooooo nice!

mind blowing - From: Phnom Penh
Teresa The atrocities in Cambodia were simply ghastly genocide, as I understand it. The capacity of the individual for such murderous impulses is appalling. You are indeed courageous in confronting and re-membering the almost unimaginable suffering of those who were so cruelly treated. Take care. lol dix

WHEN YOU'VE GOT TO GO..... - From: Siem Reap - the jewel of Cambodia (oh yes, it really is!)
Hi Teresa Just thought I would let you know that I have decided to leave SCA and will be going just before Christmas. It was a hard decision made a lot easier by the fact that I am feeling so tired at the moment and, as I still have more chemo to come, it ain't going to get any better. Will still follow your adventures from my home laptop though. How are you and where are you???? J. xxxx

I would have freaked big time if I saw a rat. So glad you were able to get to another guesthouse - you wouldn't have got any sleep. Looking forward to the next update. Take care Jo xx

Dolphins - From: Kratie to Banlung
Just enjoying reading your latest travel update. Reminded me of swimming with the wild dolphins in Perth. Was fantastic. As you say, seeing them in their natural environment is something very special. If you get to Perth I'll have to give you details of the company I went with who actually monitor the dolphins welfare. Well done for telling the boy to be nicer to the ellie. I'd be the same. Looking forwrad to the next update. x

Hi Teresa, One thing that I decided to resort to was when guys like the one who followed you decided to latch on or asked me if I travelled alone, I would tell them my boyfriend was sick in bed that day. They find it so wierd that anyone would travel alone not to mind a GIRL! Tssh! The waterfalls look gorgeous. Keep the stories coming! Cheers. Ray.

Hiya, Sitting at home reading about your travels, I find it hard to believe I was so lucky to be doing that too. You write very well dear and it is totally accurate! especially the bit about me being a 'good gal, very perceptive and speaks her mind'. Yup, that means I'm sickly sweet and get myself into all kinds of trouble. Your photos are great too. I must send you on a few that I took..hmm. I'll work it out! Tog de bog e (take it easy in Irish) and looking forward to reading about Cambodia, Vietnam and China! Ray.

Oh Teresa. Dondet is lovely and the idea of lazing in a hammock watching the sun come up over the Mekong sounds just ideal. It really seems to be a small world for travellers - and I love the sound of the guy who has been travelling for 10 years. And why not? Good to see a pic of the teddies and the bunn. Wondered how they were getting on. Obviously, you have moved on but did you feel a little bit tempted by the idea of staying on in Dondet? Can't wait for the next installment. Lots of love Jane xx

another great read - From: My first taste of Paradise in SE Asia - lovin' it, lovin' it, lovin' it!
You are really giving me a flavour of what you experiencing and it makes great reading. Bit confused about the dates though as your blogs are still dated July. I assume you are now in Cambodia. Summer is nearly over here and it has been a complete washout! We are all desperate for some sunshine! I am off to my bit of paradise next Thursday (11/09) for 16 days and cannot wait. Abi is off to China tomorrow, it seems to have come around so quickly. Life plods on at SCA, no major events to report. 6 new starters joined us on Monday! It will be a lively induction course! We still miss you, lots of Hugs Aly

YOU'VE DONE SO MUCH - From: Why, oh, why are things never easy?
Hi Hon. I love reading your blog - you are doing so much that the rest of us wouldn't dare!! Loved the waterfall day and the bed bus, amazing what other cultures take as norm that we are probably horrified by. Sounds as though you are right in deciding not to linger in Oz but get to South America - there's got to be more to see and do there than in the Land of the Long White Cloud. Take of yourself and keep up the blogging. J xxxx
