The Connecticut Lakes, Happy Corner, New Hampshire After spending a good part of my life going over around or along the Connecticut River, New England’s longest river, I always wanted to see the lakes and wilderness above Pittsburg New Hampshire where the river begins. I also want to see and photograph a real live honest to goodness moose in the wild. The river begins in a series of three Connecticut Lakes called 1, 2, and 3. I live in Beverly ,Massachusetts with my two daughters Maya and Maxanne, and my wife Karen. Karen and I cruised up the coast and across Alaska in the summer of 2008 our daughters Maya and Maxanne joined us for the cruise part of the trip. I love to travel and experience new things. In 2007 Karen and I drove cross country from Beverly Mass. to Corvallis Oregon to see America at ground level. We currently do weekly visits to somewhere we haven't been before. In the fall of 2004 when I was 54 years old they diagnosed me with the affliction ALS . Because of this stupid illness my arms don't work. For the last three years I haven't been able to hold a camera up to my face to take a picture. Because of that all the pictures on this site were taken with a small rangefinder camera mounted on my walking stick.
